Jones doesn´t need to prove anything. He looked so great against Vinny Pazienza that it´s obvious he would beat anyone. Dempsey on the other hand looked so poor. I mean even at his very best he couldn´t cope with a mediocre boxer like Tunney.

 

Forget Pazienza. The way he dealt with Ruiz is enough for me to favor him over any version of Jack Dempsey, who is essentially just a smaller, slightly more mobile Ruiz.

 

Nevermind Tunney he couldn't cope with fat boy Meehan had plenty of trouble with a past prime Gibbons. And ducked another SMW in Harry Greb
