    I'm the one being generic? I've offered countless examples to disprove your theory. All you've offered is "Librado Andrade". I honestly have no idea why we're even still discussing this, the point has been made. There's enough examples throughout Boxing history to suggest that Margarito can still take a good shot, and nothing that has transpired since the Mosley fight supports the notion that Margarito's chin is now non-existent. We're clear on this?

    You can leave out all of the personal jibes, Rafael. I'm not interested. We're discussing Boxing.

    Cool. Does the fact that Margarito blocks punches with his face and Clottey blocks punches with his gloves have an bearing on your feelings about this?

    it depends on margo's chin. it's still a question mark. if he can still take pac's punches then he might survive and not get KOed or maybe even win, who knows?

    Hmmmm... you know what, i didnt really think of that, good point. I can see Roach thinking/believing (whether right, or wrong) that Margarito is there for the taking and letting Pac unleash.... in which case it will become even more interesting, and while he would be giving Marg his only chance to win, it will allow Pac to lay down some awesome punishment on Marg.

    Its interesting how fighters who can normally absorb punishment can look to be hurt from fighters one wouldnt think they would get discouraged by, and when that happens it usually comes down to the speed. We all know that speed can do a lot of things in a fight, and it can even make the brave, punishment absorbing fighter go into a bit of a shell at times, let alone start 'waiting for the counter' so to speak. As they keep getting hit with those punches they dont see coming (as old timers would say those are the ones that get you)

    I will be interested in seeing if Pac does decide to be assertive and aggressive with Marg, if his speed can mess with Marg so much that he does indeed get brought out of his element and punishment starts to accumulate, then perhaps a stoppage isnt too far fetched :think Good point.

    Interesting.

    We will see.... I cant help but think that Marg wins some rounds though and sees the final bell. I think Marg will be willing to lay it all on the line this fight and i think he will rise to the occasion, and while i see your point, just for me personally, i will be somewhat suprised if Pac can put Marg away.

    Prior to fighting Bowe for a third time where he was legitimately stopped, he had taken part in wars with Michael Dokes, Muhammad Qawi, George Foreman, Alex Stewart, Bert Cooper, and of course, the first two fights with Bowe, and he was still able to fight for over another decade and receive punches from the likes of Tyson and Lewis.

    You stated that Margarito can no longer take a shot and I suggested otherwise, offering countless examples which disproves your theory.

    That was the whole entire discussions from the get-go, until you had to go on tangents which questioned my knowledge on Margarito, commenting on him losing speed prior to the Cotto fight, and then you got pedantic with the "baseless" statement and have ran with it ever since, completely ignoring the points I have made that were relevant to the original discussion.

    ....You truly are exhausting, Rafael. A genius. A marvel of modern Science.

    You know what, I'll flip-flop a little, because I realized I have a bad working formula. If Margarito has as much trouble finding Pacquiao as much as I think he will it won't activate Manny's killer instinct and drive. He'll be content mobilizing circles around Margarito. The reality probably is if you say what's going to happen happens Margarito will probably get stopped, and if I say what's going to happen happens Manny will probably get a UD.
