Unfortuantly I don't know a whole lot about the division in which he was champ (Light Flyweight) and heard he was having a big fight coming up, a weight higher. I was just wondering what Gonzalez's resume is like in terms of challenges. I am aware its easier to be a contender in these divisions, as there are a limited number of men this small (which is why on smaller champs you often see defences over guys who only have a few fights). Has he beat many contenders or nobodies? Thanks
He destroyed Yutaka Niida, who was one of the best fighters at Strawweight at the time. Other than that he has a decent win over Takayama, but not much else.
this but yeah he's moving up to junior fly now (was a straweight) and theres some fairly great fighters in this division probably one of the top 3 divisions in the game right now
