    You're almost right. It was JEAN Terrell (No relation) who reaplaced Diana Ross as lead singer,who was Ernie's sister. Funnily enough,Tammi was the niece of the light heavyweight Bob Montgomery.

    I've always thought Tammi Terrell was Ernie's sister.

    Apparently Tammi died from a brain haemorrage caused in part from beatings she took from an abusive boyfriend but I could never understand why Ernie didn't go around and beat the **** out of the arsehole boyfriend and look out for his sister.

    Now I know that he's not her brother it explains a lot.

    R.I.P Tammi.You (and Marvin) made some beautiful music.

    Tammi was in a couple of abusive realtionships. One of them was with David Ruffin of The Temptations. Brilliant singer,but a bit of a scumbag as a person obviously.
