i think people forget too easily. Marg was rated one of the best in the world, if not the best at 147 only a short while ago. Not an easy fight.

ermmmmm.... i think you're overrating Margo a bit way too much

Margo DOES NOT use his heighth. Boxers uses their heighth. He is not a boxer. He's just a blue-collar puncher.

Margo goes one direction pretty much. That's forward. Because yup, he's a blue-collar puncher. That means he's not looking to sit back and counter. No counter uppercut. And because Margo is pushing forward all the time, Pac will have to slip, sidestep, and attack back in angles, which makes it harder for someone to counter.

He's not really known as a 1punch KO artist, so im not sure where you think he's got all this power over previous top elite opponents. A possibility that his previous damage were due to loaded wrappings? Good possibility.

Think he may be actually battle worn, especially from SSM's slaughtering. He'll receive yet another slaughtering, as a C-class fighter w/ A-class durability (whats left of it) is validated as is....

    I don't agree with this.

Margarito has shown good combination's and a consistent and accurate uppercut in the past. Nothing in the way of foot movement, his hand-speed underwhelming, but he is certainly more skilled than he's often given credit for. Shortens his shots up really well on the inside and goes to the body effectively, just ask Miguel Cotto about that. Nothing C level about Antonio Margarito...at least there wasn't before his loss to Shane Mosley. He's something of an anomaly at this point. Who knows what he has left?

I just recently watched Margarito vs Garcia, and if Margarito tries to fight Pacquiao using that "style" he will lose by a very wide UD. He needs to use his advantages and try to bully Pac and up his work-rate from where it use to be.

Oh Varg you really believe that the old Margo beats Pacquiao easily?

There is plenty C level about margarito. Which is why he needed to load his gloves to kick cotto's ass.

Cotto was schooling him through their match, then suddenly the plaster kicked in right on cue.

Not nervous, based on Margarito's last performance anyway.

As long as Pacquiao avoids the ropes, and limits the amount of body punches and uppercuts Margarito throws...it should be routine (however routine boxing can be). The body shots Margarito was hitting Cotto with would no doubt trouble Pacquiao.

I'm a Pac fan, but I am also a Margarito fan. Stuck by the guy through all the bull****, and now I am very happy to see him get a shot at redemption.

Now, about those *******s; if they ain't nervous as a long tailed tom cat in a room full of rockin' chairs, they ought to be!

The Old Margarito will get KO'd quicker than the new Margarito. There is a reason why Clottey hardly opened up against Pacquiao. Clottey should've though because he was tagging Pacquiao cleaner than anybody else. Almost as clean as JMM in both fights. Margarito won't be able to do that because of his lack of speed. If Margarito tries to bully Pac as some people mentioned, he will get countered all night.
