"Former WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (36-2, 32 KO’s) will be fighting on the undercard of the November 13th bout between Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito at the Cowboys Stadium, in Arlington, Texas."

    Sorry if it's old news.

What is Pavlik's fanbase like in texas? This might help sell those tickets.

Best thing for him is to move up to SMW and fight someone like Bika, Manfredo, Lacy or even ovverated Mundine would be a decent name.

...and maybe some good conditioning and an update to his style.

That stalking style doesn't work against guys with good mobility.

Ward or Dirrell would take him apart with speed.

Froch just might wear him down with tenacity....but might be a good fight.

Abraham has the same style, so who knows what would happen there.

its also not clear what the weight will be...at least it wasnt clear last i checked. that over used word that rhymes with "smetchweight" was used. i hope he either decides once and for all to see if he can still be a viable contender in the mw division by testing himself there or just make the commitment to 168. this "smetchweight" stuff i don't think will help in anyway to determine that

    No, though I'm guessing Manfredo.

Pavlik vs Wright anyone? Why not this makes the most sense since Wright is with Arum and is not retiring.

Because Wright thinks he's worth more than he is and probably won't fight a name opponent for less than high six figures.

Wright has said before that he's willing to fight Pavlik for 40 percent and fighting in Pavlik backyard. This time? Since Wright is with Arum, i doubt Wright will overprice himself.

Sorry I didn't note the sources, but I'd seen a few articles that seemed to heavily imply it will be Manfredo.

Hopefully this will make the card more of a success, and it certainly be good for Kelly to get to fight in the big stadium atmosphere Manny and Margo provided.:yep

pavlik sure has taken a hard fall from being the center of attention. he hasn't been an undercard fighter since miranda. some fights he should consider are glen johnson, sakio bika, peter manfredo, or even a shot jeff lacy to buil his confidence up.

I agree but the consensus seems to be that he should stay away from skilful fighters with greasy speed.

Manfredo is a joke but he seems to be fairly durable and does come to fight so that would be my first choice for a confidence builder.
