Haye is a fraud who should be ashamed of himself. Any respectable boxing fan knows what 'steps' - quote unquote - they need to take to make sure Haye makes the minimum amount of $$$ on this fight.

I think Haye has a respectable enough record to warrant having a PPV fight with Harrison

    Look at it this way

Haye had to go to Paris and beat Mormeck for peanuts to win the world title, if he was a so called ' disgrace to boxing ' surely he wouldnt have taken that fight, trained hard, overcome a knock down and won ???

Khan had his first PPV against Prescott !

I think Haye has paid his dues compared to some fighters who got big rewards against nobodies

People like Haye and some degree Froch get so much abuse, they talk themselves up but they got themselves to World Champion level the hard way, their journey to the top has been a lot tougher and less rewarding than Hatton, Calzaghe and Khans were.

As I always say, judge Haye if he NEVER fights a Klit, the hate for him so far is unjustified cause his record is solid and thats what he should be judged on

    Is that so funny ?

No one can deny that Hatton/Calzaghe/Khan had pretty good pay days against average opponents before they were truly recognised on the world stage.

Haye and Froch didnt have that luxury, they had to hunt down the title shots, not being promoted by Warren meant they couldnt plenty of nice pay days before timing there big shot to perfection.

I rate Hatton, Calzaghe, Khan , but Hatton got Tszyu at the perfect time, on home soil, sell out crowd. Calzaghe got his big wins at home, sell outs against LAcy and KEssler, and that allowed nice paydays abroad against Hopkins and RJJ both past their best.

Froch and Haye didnt have that luxury coming up,

Haye won his first world title in overseas

Froch made his first defence overseas

    Thats the hard way FACT

This is the general consensus. Most of my casual boxing friends want to see haye vs one of the Klitchko's.
The irony is if David fought more regularly instead of talking up fights and then not delivering most would have swallowed it. As domestically although it has no significance as did LL Bruno it is a very good fight to make for our domestic scene in terms of the fighters name recognition.
Off the back of prize fighter though it just makes Haye look like a bad bad joke.
