Agree it wont work Leon...but it is the excuse thats going to be used to justify ****..

its gonna be something like this..

"YEA FLOYD BEAT PACQUIAO, BUT HE WAS SUPPOSED TO...LOOK HOW SMALL MANNY IS"

I think if he fought and beat Martinez than he could get some respect..but wait...than again sergio is old...

dont think u can get around it..wether its mosley, pacquiao, martinez....i think an excuse will be made...till he humbles himself which i dont see happening before he retires for good:thumbsup

I doubt it will happen but whether Pac wins or loses, I will always say that Pac is too small to be at his peak as a WW, which is something I've said from the beginning even when Floyd was still retired and we didn't know he was gonna make a comeback.

If Pac beats Floyd, then Floyd lost to a Pacquiao who is not even at his best weight.
If Floyd beats Pac, then Floyd beat a Pacquiao who is not even at his best weight.

You can call it an excuse if you want but that's how I see it. I think a prime WW Tito would beat Pacquiao but it doesn't mean I think Tito is a better p4p fighter than Pacquiao, just that Pacquiao isn't at his best at WW. Even if Margarito beats Pacquiao (which I doubt even more than Mayweather at 147), I will say Pacquiao was too small at 150lbs. Even if Pacquiao beats Margarito I will say he is not at his peak at 150lbs.

I will still give Floyd credit if he beats Pac at WW because he will have done something that Cotto and Clottey couldn't come close to doing. Beating Pacquiao even if he is not at his best weight is still an accomplishment to be proud of and something that many have tried and miserably failed..

He is smaller.. but why say mayweather needs to fight him JUST to make an excuse when he wins? Either he fights him an gets full credit or he shouldn't have to fight him.... I mean that makes sense right?

Why are people even talkin about this?

Everyone already knows Floyd will beat Pac.

The question is, Why the **** is he not in the ring with Pac?

He talked all that ****, and now he ran away like a lil boy hidin behind the principle.

You can't get away with runnin your mouth like that on the schoolyard.

And now the gay homosexual (he is best friends with 50 cent, and talks sometimes with his hand on his hip and points and snaps his neck), made a video disrespectin Pac now that both Martinez and Pac are both caught up in fights of their own.

Ya'll remember Pac and Martinez? The two mother ****ers Floyd said he would fight.

    Lyin mother ****er.

    That's a straight up ***** move.

:patsch No one is saying FLoyd needs to fight him "JUST to make an excuse."

Look, Floyd DOES need to fight him. They need one another. However, that doesn't change the fact that Mayweather is bigger. If Floyd win, he gets full credit for what he did. And what will he have done? Beat a guy a little smaller. Doesn't mean he wouldn't beat Pac if Pac was his equal size. That's just the nature of the game. DOn't like it, walk away...

Floyd looks a lot bigger in those pics imo. Except for his head. Manny's head is bigger.

if Margarito beats Pac I will say Margarito was bigger and that Pac has probably lost his hunger for the sport. Are those excuses? yes. Does it mean that I think Margarito will beat Pacquiao? of course not.

Premade excuse #1. Manny will not be in his prime.Already trying to discredit a victory against Pacquiao.

"When" is a word to suggest that the outcome is a given on this topic. Floyd has a "chance" to beat PAC MAN but that would mean he'll have to find his balls and sign the contract which he's been making it clear....He don't want the fight.

Sure he says he does from time to time when he's not talknig about vacation, having the urger or making himself look like a coward by talking about "IF" he fights again. All of what Floyd has shown us is that his words are worth about as much as a bag of **** when it comes to discussing a fight with PACMAN.

IF...PAC beats Floyd....if and when Floyd finds the confidence to step up.....the loss will be followed by a barrel full of excuses. Which will make all the excuses in 2010 look like a drop in the bucket.

Seriously chief? You are questioning if PAC is any good and you have Floyd taking an extended vacation to avoid major coin which he'd receive if he stepped up? The question isn't "IF Pac is any good"....but just how "GREAT" is he? Floyd could shed some light on that question but Floyd's worried about how he's gonna look if he loses. Which is a very strong possibility.

this is true. Roach has already gone on record saying that Floyd's legs are done so we know what the #1 excuse will be. Others will be inactivity, Roger having trouble with the law, Pac being on some undetectable by urine and blood test PEDs, and some other **** that we would never think about now.

Floyd seems to think PAC MAN is a "Midget".....which I guess makes him a miniature person.:think The size won't be the issue for either man. Floyd is a little bigger naturally but his advantages come with his height and reach if anyone wants to bring up "physical advantages".
