Both at the top of there games...Two extremely powerful sluggers, one fast as a cat, and the other strong as a rock. One very aggresive and fighting tall, the other very deceptive and fighting short. One much bigger 6'3 215lb 81", the other 5'11 185lb 67". Marciano has the far more proven Durablity, Stamina, and Heart.

This will be a very entertaining slugfest. I don't think it will last very long.

I have my opinion on who I think wins this fight, but I want to hear yours. I would pay 100 bucks to see this one, even with no undercards.

Two of my favorites but you have to favor Marciano, obviously.

Durability is the key here. Williams would have moments early as he did even against Liston but ultimately Marciano gets him out of there.

This would be one of those fights for the ages...Bottom line, I think Williams would have problems punching down at Marciano...giving Rocky the opportunities to get inside and crowd him.
    Marciano KO 7

Probably no one. Joe Louis was near the same size as Williams at 6'2 214lb and could still bang. But Williams was a taller hulking young monster. On the flipside, Williams also lost too everyone who compares to Marciano in punching power.

I'd pop a boner if Tom Adamek and Rocco Marciano fought a 15 rounder in a time machine.... Marciano at 187 would be bullish and powerful, but Adamek at 217 would be slick and quick...... Very interesting.......... Could '53 Marciano catch '10 Adamek? HMMMM! I'm not sure........ BOING!

Williams would be dangerous early and I could see Cleveland putting Rocky on the canvas, but I think Marciano would eventually force his will on Williams and KO him. Williams wasn't the most durable dude.

its a complete white wash for marciano. he gave liston a good fight but wiliams lost dramaticaly both times. lets face it, wiliams did no beter against ali than brian london and was knocked out by each decent puncher he fought. ultamatly big cat should fare no beter than any other (albeit exciting) frindge contender who was also knocked out early by each champion he faced like johny shkor for example.

Louis scored one knockout , and two tkos in the 3 years prior to facing Marciano , he no longer had the reflexes to deliver his combos, and right hand ko punch .Williams would be the hardest puncher Marciano faced.
I take Rocky by ko around 5 rds, but he hits the floor early.

Williams had power and good speed. But that´s it. He´s among the Top5 most overrated hws on here. I can´t see him winning against Marciano. He may cath him while still cold and put him down for a fluke knockdown but Marciano will come back and put the hurt on him. Williams is getting knocked out before the 5th. If it´s the early Marciano earlier.

I agree. You could n't count against The Big Cat getting in a big punch early on though. That would be Cleve's best chance.
