Oscar was a beast at welterweight.. he had great foot movement, ask Trinidad..... He always had a great left hook, ask Mayorga and Vargas and Gatti.. we know what Paul Williams brings to the table at WW.. who wins... from what I said.. I think Oscar would be a ten times better Carlos Quintana in Williams only lost.... Oscar would fight slick, Williams doesn't use his reach... Williams doesn't have the ring command like Hopkins, so he becomes a pressure fighter whose the same size as Oscar.. just like Tito and Vargas... as long as Oscar doesn't "run away" the last few rounds and give it away.. he should move well, be slick, connect (through Williams outstanding defense:yep) and win.
Yes, of course. He was OK with Tito and Vargas and Mayorga and BHop, but he'd definitely get ill at the thought of the punisher. You da man ! :rofl
Oscar would've brutalized Williams. Oscar was a fairly large welterweight, the size would not be that big of an issue. The skill-level disparity might actually be embarrassing. I like Paul, but this guy couldn't hang, imo, with a young welterweight ODLH, Mosley, Quartey, Forest, etc. That was a damn good crop of welters, even if a few came from lighter weight classes. Not from what he showed at welterweight anyway.
