A win over Audley does nothing for anybody's legacy on the world stage but then, who was Haye going to fight?

Time was ticking away and he had to put something on the calendar.

Not ideal but at least it's not an Albert Sosnowski.

Exactly that's the problem. This fight has no credibility and even casual Boxing fans know it, just look at the comment on the BBC and Sky pages everyone is slagging Haye and this fight off. The only thing Haye gains from this is a lot of £££££ but his cred and legacy (temporarily atm but could be permanent if he doesn't get in with either of the K Bros) goes out of the window with it and so does the Sports. Which is what my problem with this fight is this isn't helping Boxing it's damaging it. Haye is now officially a hypocrite, a sell out, a ***** and a ..........buffoon (there you go couldn't think of anything else after those first 3)

    Audley does make me laugh.

He seems to think that since that awful fight with Sprott he is now a devastating one puch knockout artist!

    Gotta love him.

The most embarrasing thing is going to be when Audley gets sparked in the first round, calls it a lucky punch, and still vows to fight on and fulfill his "destiny" to become a world champion.

Everytime I see Harrison talk, he reminds me of the Black Knight in Monty Phyton and the Holy Grail.

Mate, I'm not angry about this fight at all. In fact I'm a fan of Audley Harrison but let's not try to spin this into something it's not. My heart says Audley could pull off a shocker, but on paper at least this fight itself is a shocker. Haye had plenty of opponents to choose from, his excuse for not facing the Klits was embarassing and the only reason he took this fight is because he sees it as an easy payday, it's that simple. There is no other reason.

Haye's problem is that (as another poster put it) "there is a constant stream of bull**** coming out of his mouth". Today at the press conference you could tell he felt like a twat when he was trying to justify fighting Harrison other than the fact that he feels it's easy money for little risk. The new website and that pathetic ass video don't help him one bit either, the guy is just so much full of **** it's unblievable. Like I said, I'm looking forward to this fight (Not enough to pay for it) but it is what it is. Haye has his reasons and no matter how he or his fans try to spin it, we all know wussup. If he told it like it is, the heat would ease off a little bit.

After my initial disappointment when it dawned on us that Haye would fight Audley Im now kinda excited about it! I can see the build up being more entertaining than the fight itself and it will probably pick up a a lot of interest from the general public. But he will get absolutely slated by the Americans. He has to fight either a Klitchsko, Adamek or even Chambers or Chagaev next year.

At least its not an Albert Sosnowski? His unlucky draw against Pianeta and win over old Vidoz makes him look like a worthy HW contender when compared with Audleys recent results.

    "Eddie "Fast Food" Chambers

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA AH!!!

On a side note: I feel abit sorry for David Haye, because you can see that he's trying hard to convince himself that he did'nt duck the Kiltschko's.

I'd rather he had fought Sosnowski.

Let's say he had and Haye KOd him inside 4 rounds. It would be a markedly better victory than Vitalis. Or let's say he fought Arreloa who lost narrowly to Adamek and went deep into the fight with Vitali. And Hayes speed and power puts Arreloa away inside 5 rounds...

That's a good result. That boosts his profile even though it is still a let down.

Fighting Audley earns him zero boost within any boxing circle, TV network or promotional team.

    Who and who?

We are picking between a bucket of cum and a **** sandwich here, but come on, Audley's a Euro champ as well and at least the general public have heard of him.
