I'm only voicing my opinion about this issue. It's up to boxing commissions/sports authorities to decide if they gonna penalize Floyd or not for his racist slur.

Yep I always called Floyd a coward chicken duck. He deserves it IMO.

Most people don't agree with what Floyd said about PAC and Asian peeps in general in that racist rant. In fact, most condemned that shameful misconduct.

    fytelod,

don't waste your time with that guy. Maybe he is a racist himself so he supports comments of people which a racist in nature.

My neighborhood have lots of black people who are very kind a fun loving. Never heard them say any racist comments. FMJ isn't giving black people good image especially who thinks it's ok to say racist comments.

This is from USA TODAY Sept. 7 2010 blog:

More heat on Mayweather for racist rant

Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s apology for his racist rant against Manny Pacquiao hasn't appeased the National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA). The private, non-profit organization has condemned Mayweather's outburst and is calling for boxing commissions to censure the fighter.
A statement from national chairman Greg Macabenta says:
"We are outraged by Mayweather's racially offensive remarks. This disgusting diatribe against Pacquiao is a racial slur against all Filipinos and Filipino Americans and an embarrassment not only to the boxing community, but to all Americans. Talking trash may be common between boxing rivals, but Mayweather's racially laced profanities brazenly crossed the line of decency and respectability."
Macabenta also urged the NAACP and other civil rights organizations to denounce "this racist and homophobic rant" because "Mayweather's apology is unacceptable and he must be made accountable for his damaging statements."
Mayweather referred to Pacquiao as a "yellow chump." He also said he was going to "stomp the midget" and force Pacquiao to "make some sushi rolls and cook some rice" and then "we're going to cook him with some cats and dogs."

Listen to the black guy's lyrics. So how come people can shrug something like this off and continue to have fun? Granted boxing and rapping are two different fields but the common denominator between the two is COMPETITION. In the spirit of competition racial dissing is fair game. Rapper Jin isn't pissing and moaning about the situation. In fact you can see a show of respect between the two after the competition.

What I'd like to add to that is when Adam Carolla apologized on Twitter, the situation between him and Filipinos and others who were offended by his comments seemed to have died quickly. Now with Mayweather, they are still acting as if he deserves a lynching after his apology on video.

Good video. The crazy thing about that is Arum wasn't even joking!

I'll try to give some thoughts on this but don't treat me as a *******.;)

If it's OK for Luevano, Cotto, Calderon, Arce, Antillon, Soto, Solis, Segura, Rios, Rigondeaux, Pavlik, Montiel, JuanMa, Yuri, Gamboa, Donaire, Henry, Peterson, Martinez, Diaz and many more to work with Arum, why it's not OK for Pacquiao?

because the pac fans are crying out about floyd being a racist for his comments...boxing should penalize him

yet, while one person, the person *******s hate should be penalized, pac's boss can be just as, if not more racist, and more homophobic, but he gets a pass, because he works with pac

    that is called hypocrisy

If the rolls were reversed and a white boxer said racially insensitive things towards a black boxer, we would definitely be hearing from the Sharpton, and Jackson types. I too believe that Floyd should face disciplinary actions from boxing.

This is barely even news in the islands.

Floyd is largely ignored now, except for local sports news writers.

He'll be in the headlines if he fights MP. Until that time, he's not relevant here.

You think the whole Filipino nation all over the world feels like they wanna lynch Floyd?

You don't really know the truth.

Well, hey, I can't speak for every human being who exists on this planet. Don't be so technical. Where I'm from, people are constantly talking about it to no end. Each and every time I visit a sports forum or a website I can't escape a topic that has something to do with Mayweather's video. But if things are finally fizzling on your end, I'm glad to hear it. Don't assume I'm experiencing the same.

If you think it's only PAC fans crying out about Floyd's grave racist misconduct then I think you're wrong. Like I said before, racism is everyone's concerns.
