Who else feels '11 Adamek would be tuff as nails for '53 Marciano? I sure as hell do.

Apparently being slicker than Arreola means you're like the heavyweight Pernell Whitaker.

    12 rounds Adamek UD

    15 rounds Marciano UD

Adamek is one of the best in adapting to oponents style. With Marciano he would be able to jab him nicely, circle, throw short fluries and keep the distance. Adamek did well against guys similar in size of Rocky like Bell, Pineda, Gunn or Gomez. But none of them has Marciano's unique style, iron conditioning, durability and heart. If it goes 12 r I think that Adamek builds lead early and gets the fair decision.

But 15 rounds is Marciano's game. Even after trailing wide after the 12th Rocky could keep or even upgrade his tempo and break Adamek. I could see Pole hitting the floor few times from the accumulation of punches and exhaustion cause Adamek often gets tired later in the bout. That KD's could give Rocky the edge.

That is BS. Louis was old, yeah, but he was still very good. Since his loss to Ezzard Charles the year before he had 8 fights, winning all, 3 by KO, including wins over Top5 contenders Lee Savold and Jimmy Bivins. He was the number 2 ranked hw in the world. Old perhaps but still pretty damned good, better than any hw around today not named Klitschko.

He was as big as Adamek but more skilled, better defensivly, more power, better jab. And yet he was no match for Marciano. Adamek wouldn´t either. He would be game but would be punished badly for it.

We are talking about a guy that was in hard with Arreola. Adamak is no bum but Marciano would have had no problem with him.

Over rated compared to today's heavyweight era? Have you watched many heavyweight match ups the last 7 years? There are less than 10 able bodied operators worth watching in the entire division. I guarantee it wouldn't have taken Marciano 12 rounds to starch a 40 year old Michael Grant no matter what Grant weighs in at. It's not out of the question Marciano had enough for Vlad, the guys Vlad is beating are not close to his skill level. I don't see Marciano giving up and just eating jabs all night and if a bum like Peter can find Vlad's chin I like Rocky's chances to find it.

Come on. Marciano was not Jack Dempsey and Wlad is not Jess Willard. Marciano wouldnt even touch Wlad.

Apparently there is a very fine line between being invicible and being able to beat a guy whose best win is a close victory over Steve Cunningham.

Adamek dances around Rocky for a round or two, the crowd eating up every jab he pops off. But suddenly, Adamek starts to stagger as his shoe falls apart....Marciano feints a right and pops off three straight left hooks that leave The Great Polish Hope lifeless on the canvas. The arena is dead silent. After the fight, a bloodied Adamek is all smiles, "Hah, my cheen..strong, but uh hiz fist stronger."

Arreola promises to be in the best shape of his career but weighs in at an incredible 260! Marciano slips most of his clumsy attacks and brutalizes his body and face with short hooks. By the 5th round, Arreola's eyes are closed and he's bleeding heavily from the nose and mouth. After three more rounds of pounding him into raw meat, Marciano begins punching him in the balls and clubbing him in the back of the head but the Mexican doesn't go down. A tearful Arreola retires on his stool after the 9th. After the fight Arreola apolgizes to his weeping family, "Mother****er hit like a mother****er, give that mother****er props...I'll be back!!!"

:lol:...Then he comes in at 280 and loses to a Cockell. His trainer says he's never been a part of a worse training camp then shrugs.
