is there any other footage of Leonard aside from the Lew Jenkins fight? I've searched but to no avail.

 

I know there's footage against Lew Tendler and not positive, but I think Richie Mitchell.

 

Not much footage on Joe Gans either. Well he fought in the 1890's-1900's so I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to get more footage of him.

 

The footage of him against Kid Herman is about as solid as you can get for that time period.

It was in good quality for that time too. Still, I wish there was more to see. As much as I love rewatching fights I just can't settle with looking at 1 fight if I want to truly study someone.

 

The Jimmy McLarnin fight. Unfortunately Benny Leonard was well past his prime by then but he could still box.

 

i feel the exact same way. don't get me wrong though, there are a ton of things to learn from looking at the limited footage of older fighters with only 1 or 2 recorded fights. ex. leanoard, burley, johnson, langford....
