POLL: What if Pac wanted a vacation from boxing in 2011?

What if Pac says he's getting into his role of being a politician and says he's lost the "urge" for boxing and wanted a year off in 2011? What would you think?

EDIT: This after Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his team are strongly calling out Manny Pacquiao for a May 2011 fight.

 

That depends. If he and Floyd were in talks, then he decided to go on vacation once Floyd stopped the OSDT talk, then I'd say he was running from a fight, just like Floyd is.

If there were no serious talks about afight, and he he up and went on vacation, why not?

The same people that defend Floyd would call him a ducker just like they did in the past with Shane Mosley when he decided to take the rest of the year off instead of fighting Floyd even though there were never any negotiations back then for a fight between the two(Floyd and Mosley).

I would probably say 2011 is that last year manny will fight , he has beaten everyone out there and is a nations pride , doesnt need the sport , the sport needs him.

Floyd fans want to see him spending money.

 

MOST Floyd fans want to see him spend money.

I'm a bigger Floyd fan than Pacquiao and if he wanted to vacation I'd feel the same way how I feel about Mayweather on vacation. These guys bust their ass for 10-12 weeks non stop, nothing but boxing. And if they want a little time off, by all means.

 

It really depends when you take the time off and come back.

 

Kind of, but if Pac needed time off for Congress, he should take it. It's not what I want to see out of either fighter, but I'd understand.

Mayweather fans want to see him fight too. They just understand his reasoning on EQUAL blood testing for both. I, as a Mayweather fan, am not happy with him not fighting this year, but if Manny won't test then I understand it.

 

Who gives a fuk if PAc went on a year long hiatus... Boxing will survive without Floyd and PAc...

 

Let the boxers who go in there and get punched in the face decide when to take some time off. Floyd of course played it very dumb and angered us, but I have no problem with top guys having a vacation if they don't act like drama queens doing it.
