Who else feels '11 Adamek would be tuff as nails for '53 Marciano? I sure as hell do.

Do you realy think that Marciano would brutalize Arreola? That is insane. I love old school fighters from 50's and earlier years but I just can't see over 60 lb lighter swarmer to defeat aggressive big puncher. And this aggressive big puncher maybe raw but he is talented and won't run out of fuel so quickly. What about styles make fights fellas? As much as I like Rocky (easy top 10 HW all time) I can't see him defeating Arreola.

Arreola ran into Adamek like a wild rhino and Adamek was able to avoid his attacks for most of the fight. And when he was caught flush he stayed on his feet. Adamek was in constant danger from rushing and unpredictable opponent and suddenly less aggressive and wild Marciano bruises him easly? :-( Adamek has advantages in speed, reach, footwork, versality and posseses granite cheen better than Charles, Walcott or past prime Louis :yep Only way for Marciano to win is wear down Adamek and I only see this when it's a 15 round fight.

 

Marciano would be too much for Adamek. Way too much

Marziano by KO/TKO. Adamek's last fight confirmed his punch at HW is not worth much, and he seems to have also some stamina problems at this weight. Also his defence is far from perfect, which is bad combination against someone like Marziano. But it would be entertaining while it lasts.

Maybe Adamek can pull this one out... if it is contracted for 4 rounds

Adamek does have the advantage in height and reach... but just having something does not mean using it effectively. You may rewatch his fights with Briggs if in doubt.

 

hmm one of the best HW's of all time and a total KO artist, vs a guy, who has heart and is damn exciting but is a KO waiting to happen at HW against a good fight. Rocky would KO Adamek.

 

I think Rocky would be way to tough and relentless for someone like Adamek who in my mind would be defeated bravely because Tomasz has a lot of heart....But id say Rocky in 8 or 9 by brutal KO after he breaks him down......And i would disagree with a previous post i think Arreola would lose to Rocky as well,hes just to undisciplined and a very limited fighter...

 

Marciano doesn't have enough power to do anything with Adamek. Adamek has the better ring IQ and wins on points. The man love some people have for dead boxers leads them to exaggerate to no end.

Are you sure you're not talking about Haye? Adamek has aready been through some of HW's heaviest hitters (opponents that on average weighed 30 pounds or more ) and no one has been able to put him out. Has Marciano ever even faced an opponent 250lbs+ ?

 

Adamek is naturally Marciano's size anyways, he's just 20lbs blown up. I like Adamek but he, along with any other guy naturally under 200lbs, would get destroyed by Marciano.

 

sorry but Haye is much more comfortable at HW then Adamek. Adamek was getting wobbled across the ring by grant.

dont get me wrong - I love watching Adamek at HW - but it is going to end in a KO for him.
