Try to find any source of history that isn't euro-centric and you will be amazed at the contributions that black people have shared with this world. And in all honesty. On a personal level, sure. Why not? Most people let their mouth get ahead of their brain from time to time. I'm certainly guilty of it more often than I'd like (although never in a racial context. easiest way to lose your job). Can't see how any of the affronted were actually damaged in any way other than being offended.

However, on an institutional level, if KP or Malignaggi were caught in a similar situation, I don't think an apology would save them from severe economic and social consequences.

Now if we find that Floyd's next outing sells 3-400k PPVs as opposed to his usual million or better or he has a problem finding a venue, then I might start believing a little more in the whole 'based on content of character rather than the color of skin' thing.
