Who else feels '11 Adamek would be tuff as nails for '53 Marciano? I sure as hell do.

I wouldn´t be that surprised. Vitali is old and get´s older every day. Hell, I think even Briggs has a decent chance. However, Adamek has no chance against Wlad.

Off topic..... But I liked the way V.K. looked at the press conference with Shannon Briggs..... V.K. looked like his hair was dyed and he looked tall (as always) and fit well in advance..... V.K. is awesome.....

Thank's for your insight:)Nice input to this full of **** thread:)

I agree with you, Adamek isn't brilliant, he is hard working, brave warrior. That's why I am his fan, and I really believe in him.He set up his goals very high, but know how to climb, and would never give up.It's easy to like him ,it's easy to indentify with this Pole

    WAR ADAMEK:bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb

    Who cares about ancient Marciano:):)

I was asking, because Adamek doesnt have power to KO Vitali (general opinion is that he lacks power at HW) and Vitali was never even knocked down and fought much bigger punchers. So my guess is that only way Adamek can win is on points, but again Vitali never lost more than 2 rounds in a fight... :huh

In what way may Adamek beat Vitali in your opinion?

EDIT: I would be a bit surprised if Adamek beats Vitali, but then again he will not gain respect, beacuse as you say, people will talk about Vitali's age. It would be reasonable, but unfair - because Vitali dominated every opponents he faced (even being that 'old')

Thats good. I understand why people rate small HWs like Marciano or Holyfield above bigger ones. to be honest I rate Jack Dempsey very high - I have him at #5 All-time HW (below Ali, Louis, Lewis and Holmes). And I give Dempsey a good chance to beat every fighter despite these 4 I mentioned. I give him a decent chance against Louis too, because of the incredible speed :smoke

Adamek is faster than Vitali now and if VK ages like he did between his alst fight the speed difference will be even bigger. Vitali also is getting sloppier, and his workrate dropped. I can see Adamek beating Vitali similar to how he beat Grant. He needs to step up his game and VK must age a bit more than he already has but I can envision that.

Good post. I think that if Adamek fights without making mistakes he may take the decision. Althought when compare Vitali and Grant, Grant is worse in every single area than Vitali. And I believe that VK is a great finisher, he sees Adamek hurt, he finishes him immediately.

I think guys like Dempsey, Marciano AND Tom Adamek are suited best for each other in a time machine.... If I managed them three dude's listed above, I'd avoid "Ali, Holmes, Louis, Lewis and Foreman" altogether...

Now, if I'm willing to put '10 Adamek in there with '53 Marciano, I'd also put today's Adamek in there with '20 Dempsey... Is Adamek gonna win this fight? Hell if I know, but its interesting.....

Christ, Demps went 15 rds with 180 pound Gibbons up in Montana.... Granted, Gibbons was skilled, but he was really a light-heavy....

Adamek is too big and powerful for rocky. Marciano wasn't even a cruiserweight. This ol' nostalgia is getting old. Marciano would be KO'd
for sure against adamek. Tomasz i beleive wouldn't be hurt at all by rocky.
Marciano's power isn't even in the galaxy with arreola's and grants. Even estrada hits at least as hard as rocky, and he couldn't make goral blink.
These heavy's today would smash the **** out of the ol' heavies. Too big
    and strong.

Al Pov and his career is really jackin' off...... Adamek and his activity has made many forget about Pov altogether...... Adamek is a real fighter, while Pov is still training to become one.......

That's because he does. Better in virtually every area.
