The Paul Williams fight was hilarious because it was supposed to be his coming-out party. The fight that would force Floyd to fight him... and if he had won, that may have been the case. The guy has been such a terrible disappointment to everyone who staked their hopes of Floyd finally losing on him. Ya, and just taking a quick look here, it's REALLY hard to see where in his career he put together a string of wins that would compel Floyd to take him seriously.

Where would this constant pressure come from smartass? Margo is a plodder and can't cut off the ring to save his life. He wouldn't be able to mount a sustained attack against PBF he doesn't have the footwork or footspeed to do it and he has to have his feet set to be effective.:deal You're too stupid to realize that Margo doesn't have the tools to properly presssure PBF. He can't close the distance like Hatton could nor can he cut off the ring like a primce JLC could either log off until you learn the sport junior.:hi:

    I know.... "tougher then expected"...:patsch

Me and many here were predicting a boring blowout....which is exactly what it was.

That clown Dan "The Fat Man" Rafael had Baldomir higher on the p4p list than Mayweather!

Margarito is a carbon copy of Baldomir, but a few years younger. Somehow though Mayweather fears him. Cotto schooled the dude BOXING him until he eventually ran out of gas. FMJ wouldn't both school him boxing AND not run out of gas?

These guys are living in a dream land!

Not true. At the time there were many who said Baldomir earned his shot. Like it or not, his win over Judah was meaningful. If Floyd never fought Baldomir, that'd be one more name people would try to use against Floyd because he has a chin and comes forward. These two attributes apparently spell doom for Floyd. Except when they don't. Which has been every time out.

The sad thing is that it's the truth. Like Lance you really dont argue facts.

That is right because the FACTS always seem to turn a person into a "*****". Strange how that happens. :think

    1. Interesting. I'd forgotten that. Like I said, many in the press saw it as a "tough fight" for Floyd. Afterwards, of course, everyone changed their tune.

    2. Exactly. Agreed on all points. As I've said before, I even see Baldomir beating Rockgloves in a fight. I haven't Baldomir fight in well over a year, but at the time all of this was going on, I was vocal about that.

It's funny to me that your join date on this thread was Dec. 2008. Probably the time you actually started to watch boxing.:patsch
