Its an obvious question but I don't see too many people asking it. Forget about the odds and how good Pacquiao and how bad Margo have looked lately. What if Margo TKO's Pacquiao decisively? What effect would it have on each fighter and what effect would it have on the rest of the division?

excuses would pour out like mad

    Pac is too small
    Pac is no longer hungry
Pac is a part time fighter

Margarito would probably go on to fight the winner of Cotto vs Chavez

    Pac would probably retire.

I edited that part. That's not really what I meant.

  5. Two things:

Either Floyd will jump at the chance to fight Pacquiao...

Or duck him a third time, citing Pacquiao as coming off of a brutal loss and therefore, not worthy.

    He'll duck Margarito, too.

Assuming Cotto isn't scared of Margarito.

Floyd would have to fight Margarito or he would get more ****.

I think Mayweather would be satisfied that he is the better fighter and that he can retire from boxing without out ever facing Pacquiao or Margo. I can see Pacquiao taking a break but not retiring. I think he would come back as a jr. welterweight and face one of the top guys in that division, possibly Khan or even the third chapter to the fights with Marquez.

Oh, okay. If AM TKO's Pac, he'll go after FMJ. Pac will probably ask for a rematch or fight Berto as a swan song to boxing.

Margo would chase Floyd but Money would pay no mind and retire for good. If he doesn't want to fight a guy with 3 losses on his record and that he has been avoiding for more than a year, why would he want to fight a guy with more losses on his record and that just demolished the guy he was avoiding? As much as I hate to see it happen, I'm almost sure of it.

For one, the Floyd fanatics would rejoice and cheer non stop...then come and say how Floyd would have done the same...to both. Or some **** like that.
