can you predict the outcome of a fight by decifering a boxers stregths and anothers weakness and produce the video evidence to prove it?
for example i predict andre direll will out box andre ward when they meet.

1st..... dirrell can dominate in the centre of the ring and keep distance with his fast hands. this is shown through out the video.

2nd point..... go to 46 seconds dirrells kd of abraham..... dirrell punishes fighters who lean in to throw punches. which is something andre ward does alot. he can slip there punches and counter with his own.

3rd point.... ward likes to fight on the inside and out muscle his opponants. dirrell will use his foot work and speed to prevent ward from trapping him.

4th point.... andre ward likes his opponanats to stand and fight in the centre of the ring like mikkell kessler did. this enables him to counter and dictate the fight. kessler had a weak defence and was in range for ward to land his shot. dirrell either boxes at distance or on the move.

Cant see Dirrell winning this fight - so we'll see if any of your points stand out after the fight.

I predict that Mosley will win a UD against Mora.

Mora has proven that he has little punching power. Because of this - Shane will continue to come forward. Shane usually works the body very well - this will slow Mora down. Shane's punching power will keep Mora at bay and off of his game plan. But mainly because - he's not coming off a very long lay off - so he'll have very little ring rust - even at 39.

    Harrison v Haye.

Haye to win via KO inside 3. The video below shows why...

    :D

I seen your thread earlier, and I was going to sit down and do a full analysis of why Harrison was going to get knocked out...but I had to run out, so I did a quick one when I got back. :good

Good thread by the way...original. :good

cheers.... nah i think you have pretty much explained the out come of the fight and the proof is there to see. u dont need any more. haye will land with ease and ko harrison early.
reason i started the thread is because people always make predictions about fights, i thought id let people prove there point in more depth. not many people seem that interested though so probably to much to ask.

Magic Matt Hatton would beat Floyd Mayweather Jr. on Points.

Magic Matt would easily be the strongest WW fighter PBF has every faced, plus he is in the prime of his career. His whirlwind style with powerful shots coming from all angles coupled with great pitter patter jab that shoots out quicker than any other current fighter. Shot Mosley already proved how easy it is to hurt Floyd at the higher weight, but he just couldn't sustain it. Magic Matt is a machine for 3 minutes every round, every fight. I just can't see any argument whatsoever that Floyd could win this one.

Yeah you most likely won't get many comments, it doesn't include the names Mayweather or Pacquiao at any point.

This was in the last 2 rounds of a 12 round fight! How could PBF keep up with this pace?

Predicting fights is tricky business. You can be 99% correct, and that other 1% will come back and bite you right on your ass!

For example, a few years ago Allen Minter's kid, Ross "The Boss" Minter fought Furious Freddy Curiell. Minter won pretty much every second of every round. Little Freddy's face looked like someone beat him with a brick! Then in the waning seconds of the final round feather fisted Freddy, who hadn't knocked anyone out in years, was trapped on the ropes, and it looked like the fight was over. Well, it was. Curriell came up with a right hand from hell, knocked Minter halfway across the ring, and put his lights out! No one in his right mind would have predicted that.

I predicted that Dirrell would out box Abraham, but somewhere along the way, Andre would make a serious mistake, and Abraham would knock him out. I was far from alone in that prediction. Well -- we know what happened.

Pavlik/Taylor I unfolded almost exactly like I envisioned it, but I sure as hell did not see that debacle in the second round coming, and that almost spoiled the pudding.

The list I could make goes on and on. Predicting fights is tricky business for any number of reasons.
