3 million euros converts to less than 2.5 million pounds.

    just saying.
I'm not going to defend Haye's german tv network excuse.

The Euro has been on a slide of late. My point was that the contracts are about the same when they fight anybody but each other.

Are you from another planet of something? Like the Brits are any better. They're eating this Harrison dreck up with a spoon even after Haye said it was a joke fight. Gimme a break.:lol::lol:[/quote]

I'm talking about PAYING CUSTOMERS, brainbox.

People keep droning on about how the Klits can fill this or that arena but who's actually paying to watch them on tv?

The difference with Haye is that people have been prepared to pay to watch him on tv.

It did 800K. But remember, those number are inflated because British pay per view is cheap. Its less than half the cost of pay per view bouts in America at only 15 pounds. Raise that price to 50 bucks or 35 pounds and see how many people buy.

The television networks are paying them, dingbat. And since television stations only pay because they are giving the people what they want to see....I'm sure that if Germany had a pay per view sports service and they charged people 17 euros for a Klitschko fight, you'd get similar numbers to Haye. But since they don't, your argument doesn't hold water. The only way to judge them is by ticket receipts. Are you getting this?

Moron, there's no pay per view in Germany or the Ukraine. Don't you get that? The only way to gauge their popularity is by ticket sales. :patsch:patsch:patsch

Yes, I do get that, genius. That's the WHOLE POINT.

Nobody wants to buy a Klit PPV ANYWHERE.

What does THAT tell you about their popularity?
