    Interesting points.

Im sure you could say the samething about athletes in other sports, though.
Tiger is much more in the public image as well.(tv, radio, ect...)

I don't think it will. They said they will do the same before and never did. They're just making Mayweather look bad with such claims and I can't blame them.

to say his remarks where racist is stretching it. More like highlighting sterotypes

    But....

I feel that if a white boxer said something to the effect of "I'm gonna whup that black chump and then make him fry me some chicken and cut up some watermelon" we would be hearing from Jackson, Shaprton, Farkahn, the NAACP and so on

the standards aren't fair across the board and we know it.

As for his apology, I believe that as much as I believe that Floyd is the greatest boxer ever.

Yea, I'd be moar worried if I was a pro tennis player caught making race jokes. I don't think Floyd makes much from sponsors. All that dough is from his own business and boxing.

You see nothing wrong w/ what he did, in guessing?

Yes, Pac has puppy power. They do that kind of thing in their culture.

Its over. Forget about it and move on.

What he said was wrong for someone in his position, but not exactly the most racist thing i have ever heard, or been called.

I remember a certain Hopkins and his racist remarks about Calzaghe, but everyone seems to forget about those.

    Just move on.

And for those who feel he should get punished.... What govering body has the power to do that?

this is a man who fights when he wants not becuase he has too, im not a floyd fan but he is mentally fragile and didnt understand how embarrising what he said was until one of his yes men told him. there is no way of really punishing him other than losing few endorsments

Really, I heard yellow. And Floyd is 20 months older than him. Not nearly enough to call him YOUNG chump.
