I'm gonna have to stand alone and disagree with most of you all on this one. These guys are far from stupid in my opinion. What they do outside of the ring in front of a mic or camera might seem stupid but you can apply that to the WWE. They just plays the villian and that is just the part the family wants to play (the apollo creed part). They might go overboard playing the part but that's understandable. The Mayweathers don't really hate all penoys and anyone who things they genuinely do is crazy. Floyd himself has been groomed for it because the family had already played the role and groom him to be the one who actually made it to the top and backed up his (selective) **** talk.

Truth is Floyd does a lot of good things off camera. He's just a man, doing his job trying to market himself with a proven formula to generate extra money on top of his great skills. When you play the villian you still have your loyal fans as well as the people who will show up to see you get KOed, as well as the neutral fans who only appreciate his skills in the ring as well as the match ups.

These guys say a whole bunch of things they don't actually believe on camera.
