Who else feels '11 Adamek would be tuff as nails for '53 Marciano? I sure as hell do.

Ill take Grzegorz Lato, World Cup Golden Boot winner.

Though most football historians will prefer Wlodzimierz Lubanski.

Sorry man, I have to disagree. Rocky destroys him. Adamek is nothing special at HW. Anything Adamek does the Rock did better.

No way that Adamek can hang with Mariziano most of the advantages that he has against big slower fighters would be lost against Rocky or Dempsey

I love Ezzard "Buzzard" Charles as much as anybody does, however, he was very small and NOT very powerful... Of course he was slick and spry and a great boxer in general, but he would have his hands full with modern or at least post 1960 heavies who were young and either primed or just a hair past their best nights in the ring...

Charles really shines with his numerous wins over "Moore and Walcott." But, truth is, Charles was quicker in hands and feet than both Joe and Archie ever were... He out-boxed them guys prior to July 1951...

I think the 2010 Tom Adamek, at his weight of 217 fit pounds, would be able to hang in there with Ez Charles of 1950 in a 12 rounder... I can't say how either man would react to each other in a time machine, but no early KO is gonna happen in that dream fight... That match is gonna go some rds... WORD!

The heavyweight division is weak. Arreola is only capable of what little he is because of how weak the division is. He would not have made it as a prize fighter in the 1950's. We would have been eaten alive. I'm not a big on ripping on current fighters and talking bout the good old days like Bert Sugar but that doesn't mean Arreola is a capable fighter.

Anybody who says Marciano would have brutalized Adamek.....

    Is 100 percent correct.

And I love Adamek as a fighter.

My blood sugar is on the high side and my potassium is a little low... I have high cholesterol and my blood pressure is not good, so I have meds for that.... But the doc says if I get motivated and regain my youthful weight of 170 pounds, these problems will likely go away....

I noticed a lot of so-called fans / experts keep harping on Adamek at his weight of 175... Why?? Adamek at 217 is a whole new / different fighter.... Some of these critics need to get a cup of coffee and a smoke so they can wake the **** up... Peace...

I guess this is your best way to stay by your opinion - Ezzard Charles Highlights PRIOR to Marciano fight and Walcott's candy sweet compilation against Adamek-Arreola highlights. Add a video "Marciano's underrated defence" :yep and Adamek-Dawson highlights :yep

Adamek beat over 250 lb big aggressive puncher with stamina and iron chin considered to be top 10 HW. He did that thanks to his speed, skills and chin - all this are keys to beat Marciano.

I don't like to discuss with someone narrow minded, you have your opinion, I have mine. We failed to convince eachother, tough luck.

So Arreola loses to LaStarza, Layne, Cockell, Matthews, Satterfield, Baker, Henry?

Adamek isn't close to Marciano's level
