    No, the fight was to close, and Cotto ran in the 12th.

    I hope not, meaning i hope hes able to get one that surpasses that one.... but as of right now, yes it is. Not a bad one to have in all honesty.

    Yes. He'd have to beat Pac in a rematch, Mayweather, or maybe Martinez at lmw and I just can't see him beating any of those guys at all.

    Most likely-almost certainly, imo. I don't think he has enough left to better it, even though he may have enough left to better his legacy in the sport, which is already a likely HOF legacy as it stands.

    Yes by far. Cotto is a good fighter but not great. He will make it in the HOF since he's a 3 weight champion . Shane Mosley was his best win even though it was close . Not sure if he will be considered an ATG though.

    thats so wrong it made me laugh. so far yes. no question about it that mosley is the best name on his resume.

    mosley went on to destroy the man who took cotto's precious 0.

    Beating and proving at least equal to that version of Mosley (a past it but still able talented fighter) is probably his best win, but I think he'll be remembered more for taking out basically everyone at 140 before going on to fight the best at 147. I think he still has some good wins left in him, Steward is allowing him love what he does again. Most don't consider him an ATG, but he has one of the best resumes out there and H2H his style gives a lot of historically great fighters problems.

    I only count decisive wins as career defining. Minus the crowd at MSG it goes either way. I've had Mosley winning every time I score it. Cotto gave a brilliant performance, but I wasn't as moved by the single jabs as much those in attendance. Mosley would dig three solid scoring shots and it was like it never happened. It was Cotto's night. That's how people wanted it. Mosley was not as his best as well, so that doesn't make it any more credible for Cotto. Cotto's body of work is more defining than a career win. He's sublime.
