Cotto was "damaged goods" as Teddy Atlus and so many experts and everyone else knew except these Pacquiao fans who mostly only been following the sport since Pacquiao/Oscar. PBF/SSM was a far more significant fight and even though Shane was 38 he was the #1 ranked WW. Not champ but #1. Cotto was like 31 -32 but the man was so less durable than Shane .

And even though Cotto did beat Shane it was a close fight. Look at the stats and you will see Shane landed far more power shots while Cotto landed far more jabs. Margarito/Cotto on the other hand was a destruction and Shane/Margo was the destruction of the man who destroyed Cotto whom beat Shane 115 -113.

People who pay attention to the sport know Cotto on fight night comes damn near a middle weight hence the catchweight but oh well.

Pac v Cotto far more impressive to me as the odds against Mosley were higher and his age were Cotto proved against Foreman he was still a Prime guy and he actually beat Mosley 2 years before PBF did.

Aswell as PBF got hurt bad were Pac schooled Cotto.

Floyd over Shane will always be better. That is a great winning over another great regardless of age or anything, it still is a great over a great. Pacman is a great over a guy who is very good.

Cotto beat Mosley and Pac beat Cotto. Void has been running for Pac for a long time now.

Void thinks that his fight with a woman was his greatest win!

Pacquiao's stoppage of Cotto of course. Mosley is too old , slow, coming from a long layoff, he has been outbox by a shot limited fighter Mayorga, while Cotto (younger) proved that he is still a better fighter by beating Foreman. Cotto also has beaten a better version of Mosley before.

Mosley was the 3rd P4P and the WW champ. Floyds win means more.

floyd-mosley was the better fight in terms of skills, Floyd got wobbled in the second but managed to box his way to a wide UD.

pac-cotto was the better fight in terms of excitement to every boxing fans who wants all-out WAR. Two KDs and a TKO result in the 12th.

pac over cotto because at the back of my mind i always knew mosley would get beat up against floyd because of the way he fights boxers, but i thought otto would atleast put on a good fight before losing on points.

I thought Cotto was going to beat on Pacquiao, so maybe that does have to be considered the better win.

It's not exactly apples to apples though because Pacquiao was scared shitless of Mosley before Mayweather made him look bad.

    Both great wins

Pac over Cotto by a mile.

Juwst got to look at the betting odds going into it:

Shane was a 7 to 1 underdog going into that fight.

Cotto Pac odds were pretty close.
