Who out there would "SUPPORT" the use of Gatorade in the corner of a pro fight?

    Boxing Fans,

    Gatorade has been in service since 1965... All kinds of sportsters' drink the stuff during competition of Tennis, Baseball, Football, Soccer, Basketball and Track... What the hell? Is is so bad for a boxer to have a 28oz bottle of Gatorade in the corner next to the water?? Of course they ain't gonna guzzle the substance hardcore in the middle of a heated fight, but a few sips here and there would aide a fighters hydration... What's the deal???

    Do boxers not use gatorade by choice or is it not allowed ?

    (Ive never thought about it tbh)

    It ain't allowed...... Commissions' have not agreed to the moderate use of Gatorade in the corner during a pro fight.... Why???

    Apple spritzer is as efficient as gatorade and tastes better, just as a banana is as good as an energy bar.

    It's not allowed mainly because any substance can be mixed to it. Water is enough to rehydrate them.

    In one of Juan Diaz' fights I recall Ronnie Shields saying to him, 'do you want some gatorade'...i can't recall which but I know it was a recent fight.
