Khan vs Maidana or Ortiz is being planned for December 11th. It could be in the US but the likelihood is it ends up in at the 02.

Frank Warren said this week he will do a big show (planning the return of the magnificent 7) on December 11th at the excel as its his 30th anniversary as a promoter.

2 mega card in the capital would be a disaster from the promoters as it would be difficult to sell 35,000 tickets with a split crowd.

the best scenario would be if Khan stayed in the US and we had a ppv double header. How good would this be.

    UK

Frankie Gavin vs Curtis Woodhouse (Vacant Commonwealth LWW)
James DeGale vs Kenny Anderson (Vacant British SMW)
Derek Chisora vs Tyson Fury (British & Commonwealth HW)
Matthew Macklin vs Darren Barker (European & British MW)
Paul Smith vs Eduard Gutkunekt (WBO SMW eliminator)
Kell Brook vs Mike Jones (Vacant WBO WW)
Jurgan Braehmer vs Nathan Cleverly (WBO LHW)

    US
Saul Alvarez vs Kermit Cintron (WBC LMW eliminator)
Victor Ortiz vs Mike Alvarado (WBA LWW eliminator)
Amir Khan vs Marcos Maidana (WBA LWW)

Why does Warren always do this?

I think this is his form of payback. He didn't on the same day as Khan-Paulie and now this.

I'd assume it was more to do with Sky looking to pair Khan up with a big British event and do a split-site PPV. If you remember until talks broke down with Khan, Sky was going to show Mitchell-Katisdis on PPV.

Why do you care? It's not as though you have any financial stake in Khan.

If it comes off as the OP envisioned it'd be a great night of boxing.

Yip, I dont understand why people get caught up in how much cash a fighters making??

As fans we should only be worried about watching good even fights, leave the money side of things to the greedy promoters.

There are obviously some of the lower paid guys who deserve a big payday so they can retire well, worry about them, not the likes of Haye/Khan
