Floyd Mayweather Jr. makes it hard to "STAY" a Fan.

    In the past few weeks, I have openly blasted my favorite fighter from everything to his team's ovbious "fudging" of the truth when they said that "NO" negotiation took place for a fight with Manny Pacquiao in November, When Floyd himself said that Manny Pacquiao as agreed to take the additional Blood Testing (although some Floyd Fans swear Floyd Never said this)...and I have also ripped him for his idiotic behavior and pointless, misguided and racist rants on u-stream.

    And the response I have gotten from "Floyd Fans" in ESB are claims of me not being a real Floyd Fan, not being a "Ride or Die" Floyd Fan, being called a "Sell-out" and one poster even said that "You ain't a Real Ni99a". I am still trying to understand what in the hell does that mean:huh.

    I once heard someone say that Floyd is well-aware that he doesn't have a "Fan Friendly" (Casual Fan) fighting style. He's not a wild-swinging KO Artist, so he sells his fights with outlandish trash talking and playing the role of Villain. Now this makes total sense and it's actually pretty damn clever....But playing the role of of Villain and being a complete ******* are two entirely different things. I have no problem with Floyd Saying that he'll whoop Pacquiao's ass, Because that's what I still believe (Floyd by wide UD). I also have no problem with Floyd saying he's better than Pacquiao, that Roger is a better trainer...blah blah blah...that I can deal with.

    But that other crap, full of profanity, dissing another man's culture and counting loads of money on camera...that's just plain IGNORANT!!! My nephew made a video similar to that about a month ago in Facebook. But the difference is...My nephew is 12!!! And the assertion that I am no longer a Floyd Fan....is just plain ABSURD. But as a "new" father, I wouldn't feel comfortable with my son emulating Floyd's "outside the ring" behavior.

    This is why, from time 2 time, I watch a shitload of Floyd's training and fight videos, just to remind myself....WHY I AM STILL A FAN OF FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR. But damn...he makes it hard!!!!

    Yep...that's why I tend to ignore what he does or says outside the ring. I became a fan of him for his talent and ability in the ring. Very few boxers catch my attention with what they do outside the ring, sadly with his behaviour...Floyd isn't one of them.

    its easy when he's in the ring...i pay attention....outside the ring....i dont care.

    Fan of Floyds in the ring

    dont care about Floyd outside the ring.

    this is actually for all my favorite athletes...when they are using their craft i pay attention...everything else is none of my business.

    Many fighters have hit their wives and even killed their wives (carlos monzon), its not good but it wont stop them from becoming ATG.

    Floyds legacy is already cemented.


    he needs to clear his act up though.

    I have the same problem with floyd. He should spend more time dissing pacquiao's 'amateur' technique and saying how he would embarass him in the ring then this bull****.

    Well if he did hit that woman...Floyd is a coward, only coward's hit women.

    But it's his personal life, and I don't see how it stops him from becoming an ATG? He has yet to reply because he doesn't have an answer.

    He can't be an ATG coz he has no personality. He's closed gay, racist and hit women.

    Alrite, some of the others did too, but same way they talked bout boxing skills rather insulting for nothing really. That is no personality at all.
