He's an all year around athlete.

Its highly unlikely we'll ever get to see Wladimir bloat up in weight or lose a serious amount of weight. He walks around at 230ish and actually gains weight the first few weeks of training camp.

These so called boxing fans ought to have realized by now that boxing is one of the ultimate self-discipline sports on earth. It's all easy for them to sit behind a monitor and criticize true dominance, but what Wladimir has done for the sport, and heavyweight boxing in general is soon equivalent of the late great Joe Louis.

Wladimir makes it look so awfully easy.

**** it, man... Klit looks ripped and buffed at 247 pounds... Sam Peter looks fine at 241 pounds, but he still has that weird ample girth... Sam is built more like a football player than that of a boxer...

Yes, higher than I expected, but that doesn't mean I think Wlad is out of shape in any way...looks very good....and like I said earlier, it's only half a pound more than he was against Austin, and we know how that went.

Blame guys like Tyson for changing the perception of what boxing is supposed to be. When Mike fought, that truly was the weakest heavyweight division in history and everyone basically laid down after the first punch. Only Tony Tucker gave him a fight, but with bad hands, he was limited as to what he could do. Then along came Douglas and basically followed Tuckers game plan against a lazy Tyson and won rather easily. Wladimir in the other hand has fought many guys in the last 8 years with great records and very high KO percentages. If I was fighting any of those guys, I'd be careful also. It just makes common sense. But common sense apparently doesn't prevail in the boxing world.

To a certain extent this is the truth, but I'd blame media more than I would ever blame Tyson, who was a truly great champion in his heyday, he fought everybody and beat them aswell, at a very young age.
He appealed to so many people because he was such a beast on the outside, and such a fragile guy mentally.

Tyson added more to boxing than anyone else since Ali. He may have done some terrible things like the ear-biting incident, but all in all he helped boxing.

Same weight he was against Austin and Jefferson

Deviations within a pound are nothing for big dudes

Exactly. And in both those fights, he delivered 2nd round KO's. Seems that Wlad adds weight to add power. Makes sense.

Peter's punch resistance is superior to Austin's and Jefferson's by far.
But then McCline did drop him early.
Oh well such is boxing, anything could happen.
Even a 1st round KO for Peter.

    :rofl

Peter turns up wearing a man thong :rofl

Emanuels taking a real good look there too.

All BS aside they both look in great shape despite being a tad over their usual.

Soon as in a few years, and they will come & go fast, believe that.

Like Manny Steward said, there's nobody on the horizone.. Wladimir is likely to dominate the division just as long as he wants.
