I found this to be funny as hell! :rofl

"No disrespect to the young kid. I think it's wonderful that he's my mandatory. I'll go to Mexico and they can use Julio Sr. and Julio Jr.'s mom as two of the judges, because it still won't matter." -- middleweight champion Sergio Martinez, mocking the WBC's decision to name Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. his mandatory challenger for a fight that it has ordered to take place after Martinez makes an optional defense in the fall

Now - if Chavez Jr. takes the Cotto fight and loses - does he lose his mandatory position? More than likely yes.

However - if he wins at Jr. Middleweight - does he still remain the Middleweight mandatory? More so - does he take the fight?

Even if he beats Cotto - which I don't see - I can't see him beating Martinez. With or without the Roach.

Love how the trash talking starts out with - No disrespect - then he disrespects him.

That happened like ten years ago. Though, I can't help but be interested in a Margarito-Martinez II and/or Margarito-Cotto II if Marg tries to be competitive versus Pacquiao.

We can't say that for Marg yet we'll have to wait and see how he is with Pacquiao. As for Martinez I think he got better but I don't think he would clearly beat Margarito as some may think. I'm going to give further assesment after his fight in November. I do love the way he toke Cintron's heart & his fight with Clottey.
