if you didnt think tyson was a great boxer then i suggest you just log off and forget this ever happened. in the early part of his career (pre prison) tyson was known for having a world class defense, do you really think he wouldve beat the likes of holmes, tucker, and bruno with PURE offense? he set his shots up with head movement and slipped his opponents jabs. and when he got inside he threw short, crisp combinations to the body and followed through to his opponents head. you dont consider that boxing? thats boxing and inside fighting 101, just leave man. you claim that other people think boxing is only brawling yet you dont know the first thing about the guy you're talking about. man, hypocrites on the loose today:-(

Yeah tyson only Ko'd guys that 'couldn't take a punch' c'mon. Your basic point that there's more to being a champ than 1st round ko's is valid, but do you gotta go so far as to say that tyson was basically a weak champ??? Tyson slaughtered a bunch of guys inside a five rounds that are arguably better than all of Wlad's comp (aside from corrie sanders, tony thompson, and maybe the byrd from byrd-wlad 1). And Tyson defense was awesome and he didn't get hit much either except for in some of his performances after 1990.

 

i was shocked when i saw peters weight, i was hoping he would be about 230, but seeing the pics he looks in great shape and i wouldnt wanna take a flush shot off him.

that being said i think this will be very similar to vitali vs peter.
