Dude you cant be serious in regards to Johnnys best wins:huh Either you a no nothing wannabe fan who gets his info from boxing records. OR maybe you have just left guys out on purpose to fit your weak argument. You left out quite a few guys better than some of the ones you mentioned.
    Ever heard of
    Cesar Soto Former champ
Nana Kanadu former 2 division champ
    John M Johnson Former Champ
    Arthur Johnson FOrmer Champ
    Jesus Chong Former champion
    Henry Martinez Solid top contender
    Rolando Bohol former cHAMPION.
Cuathemoc Gomez Tough ass nails long time contender

If you consider yourself a knowledgeable boxing fan and dont know who these guys are you better think again. Or were you just trying to insult our intellingence by leaving these guys out?

I know Calzaghe is better at forcing a high pace then the fighters mentioned.
I have helped bring forward your acceptance that your hero lost.
Ive read on here before, that your known as being Fragile Popkins, and I can see how easily you have been broken down and dissected with ease.
Hopefully now you will be able to live with the facts :good

i,ve seen most of tapia's career.

PFP, romero hit harder than anyone calzaghe fought? hahahahaha, have you seen sheika, mitchell, lacy and brewer?

you ****in moron, danny was a good puncher at the weight, but not as big PFP as those i've mentioned.

barrera wasn't a big puncher at feather.

jorge julio? a big puncher? hahahahaha, shut up dip****, he was nothing more than a decent puncher.

soto was a puncher, i'll give you that one.

johnson a big puncher? stop smoking crack!!

konadu? watched some of his fights on youtube, i'll give you that one.

it's ass a sin, not assassin.

calzaghe or tapia having the better chin or the bigger heart is just opinion from both of us.. you say johnny, i say calz, fair enough, i'm not going to argue with you.

    that's all it is, OPINION!!!

read my post's properly next time, i said most of his fight's, not all.

For career I'd have to say washerwoman Joe, but I voted Tapia because he is so much more enjoyable to watch.

Seriously mate, how rash can you be? I have read and re-read my post and the post that I was responding to, and I really cannot understand how you can have so badly misconstrued my point. It's patently obvious what I'm saying; you couldn't be more wide of the mark. And, for the record, I think Lopez is in a different stratosphere to Calzaghe in terms of ability. Not even close. At all.

Would you have been happy for him had he pulled the upset ? :think

I was happy for Ayala when he got the payday vs Morales a month or 2 after that fight.... but thats only because Erik put a masterclass on him.

    Oh yes, its true ;)

If Lopez had fought in any division from 122 upwards with that same sort of ability he`d have been the best p4p fighter in the world & likely would have went down as one of the top fighters of all time rather than a ? beside his name.

    IMO.

Yey Romero hit harder than anyone of those guys in his prime,STFU your a newb fan.

Barrera wasnt a huge puncher at feather but definitely above average.
Julio yes good puncher ask Eddie Cook and a number of other good bantams

Johnson was a big puncher you dont even know who he is dip****, if you dont think he can punch ask a prime Junior Jones or Augie Sanchez whom he practically killed with one punch!!

Yey and you conviently left those others out but at least you acknowledged those guys could punch. Bottom line he fought at least as many big punchers as Calzage was never dropped(until he was an old man) and never hurt unlike Joe who was dropped numerous times and hurt badly.

I cant believe your trying to argue the obvious category in which Tapia was clearly head and shoulders above Calzaghe in:-(

:huh sanchez and jones were chinny! he wasn't a big puncher, end of story.

newb fan? i've been watching since the early 90's.

name me the times calzaghe was hurt?

the only times i saw calzaghe hurt, was against mitchell and jones.against jones, he was caught cold in the first round.. hay, it happens.after the first round, calz took much harder punches off jones without even blinking.

you also say that tapia was an old man when he got dropped.. how old was calzaghe when he got dropped by hopkins and jones?

that's right, 37 years old.. he was an old man also.:yep:patsch:hi:

not how old was joe but how old were those two who were way past there best bernard an roy both 40 something right there is no comparrison in terms of boxing ability an chin an heart johnny head an shoulders above joe who in his own right good with his glossy record that 0 gives good look but if you look in to it with unbiased eyes the substance an relevance belongs to johnny tapia all day long ...

Calzaghe because he never quit. Tapia quit once way back when he was beating up a lot of no hoper's. I can't remember who the guy was who made Tapia quit, but what I do remember is that Tapia was saying that he got thumbed in the eye and couldn't continue.

As far as resumes go Tapia's doesn't compare to Calzaghe's. His best win was against Romero. Nuff said.
