ESPN : Tomasz Adamek to face Vinny Maddalone Dec. 4th.

Some of you longtime Adamek haters and Haye homo's need to take a look at who the next 3 title challengers fought on there way to there current title shot's and STFU.

 

Dont be so biased man, you have to admit it's odd that his opposition has gotten worse after a really good win over Arreola.

 

It's hard to defend this one. I love the fact Adamek stays busy (a lot of fighters would do well to follow his example) but this. Is a woeful fight.

If hope he is fighting Vitali next because you can't really go from Grant to Maddalone to another scrub.

 

He's only doing what every other HW contender is doing all while doing it undersized.

Please tell me what recent Peter,Briggs or Harrison opponent is worth anything??

 

They arent, that's why most consider them unworthy of a world title shot. I would agree with you if he hadnt fought Arreola, he's gone fron beating a top 10 guy to Grant and now Maddalone, not hating I just find it odd.

 

Yeah it will also be odd when he gets to a Klit before Haye but it is what it is.I guess people demand more out Adamek then most other fighters:huh

Demanding? What are you talking about? You dont find it strange that he beats a top 10 fighter and then fights Grant and Maddalone? Dont be so biased.

 

As long as he fights Vitaly in march next, its forgivable. It is a "bum fight, or no fight" situation and Adamek prefers the 2nd option.

 

It would be strange if he were a natural HW, but he isnt. Arreola fight was his only 3rd fight at HW. He is still learning how to fight big guys and his body is adapting to the weight.

I believe that he will not walk the Povetkin path and will not prepare for years to fight Klitschkos. I wanted to see Adamek facing Klitschkos just after he beat Golota, but then I realized that it would be just stupid - fighting such risky fight without proper preparation. If he doesnt fight any champion (or at least ABC eliminator fight) after the Maddaolne fight, then you can blame him as you blame Povetkin and Haye. It would be fair. Now its a bit too early, dont you think? :huh 36 tough rounds this year, another 12 with a big guy in that short period could be too much for this brave but small heavyweight.

 

This is only acceptable if it is a stay busy fight and he follows it up with something big right after this.

 

I dont have anything against Adamek at all, id support him against nearly any HW, all im saying is that if you beat a guy in the top 10 and then fight guys like Grant and Maddalone, it doesnt make sense. If he beat these guys and then fought Arreola, id think he was doing things really well, but what he's doing now is kind of confusing IMO.

Friendly reminder: Adamek is in a position to pick and choose who he wants to fight and this is just a stay-busy tune up fight, and another test to see how Tomasz does against Vinny compared to Boytsov.

 

He is rumored to face Vitali in March. So, this is a stay busy fight.

 

If he is keeping busy for March against Vitali then it's fine.
