WBA calls for Khan/Maidana purse bid

Khan is gonna be upset over this one. He was saying Marcos was NOT the Mandatory.

 

Disbursements of Bids Proceeds. The boxers’ Purse shall be distributed as
follows:
a. 75% to the Champion and 25% to the Challenger.
b. 50% to each contender in the case of vacant titles or elimination bouts.
c. 55% to the Champion in Recess and 45% to the Interim Champion, in the
event of such a bout.

So Maidana should be getting 45% which is great for him.

 

Maidana knew if he pushed to the purse bids he could get a 45%split because he holds the Interim title , Khan's team must of been offering around 30%-35%.

Its OK Khan ant vacating so really this fight is signed, just means Maidana will have a bit more cash to use after Khan ends his hype.

 

I can't wait till this guy's hype is over. The so called 'ducking' Khan is doing will only make him look better when he beats the **** out of him.

Me kept all 30 fast's but right at the end it took it's toll, feel unwell today.

To be fair cant really fault Maidana if you got your shot at the bigest payday of your life and you were not getting the max you can get then you would be a bit of a fool. Maidana knew if Khan's team did not offer near 45%, he could push the bids to get 45%.

I know Khan wont drop the belt and will have to give Maidana 45% split.
