Khan's an idiot. He talks mad **** and then fights Paulie ****ing Malignaggi. What a ****in joke. Breidis Prescott is his daddy and now he's gonna get knocked out cold, again.

HBO will pay 1.7 Million for the fight in the UK and the 55/45 split does not give Khan his 1.2Million that Golden Boy promised him. This is the reason for the reluctance to fight Maidana. I see this fight going ahead in the US now where HBO said they will pay 2 million for it.

 

The majority of Khon's fans are Muslims, they are not boxing fans, they support him because
he's a Muslim.

Firstly, I guess Khan is seething after yesterday saying it couldn't go to purse bids.

Secondly for people claiming HBO is offering 1.7million for the fight in the UK, this is incorrect. They will only offer that if its in the UK but live on U.S prime... who is going to stay in an arena till 4am to watch Khan-Maidana?!, the offer for UK primetime, U.S tape delayed was 750k.

Now the situation gets tricky...

Perhaps GBP, if they cannot meet Khans gaurantee on their 3 fight deal will have to sit out of the bidding if they cannot get 2.27million purse (for the 1.25million at 55%)

I personally think it would be hillarious if Frank Warren won it!, he already has a bill that night too to put it in!

And Khan is? Maybe in the UK Khan can get a full house, but so can Maidana in his home-country. Khan is not a greater draw in the US than Maidana is. And anyway, Maidana is the interim title holder, he is entitled to 45%, it is unfair of Khan to offer him any less. The worst thing is that Khan would probsbly beat Maidana if they fought, so why all this dilly-dallying?
