being proud of where you come from is something a lot of people i know share.

when i am in a pub during the the group stages of the world cup, and jermain defoe scores the goal that puts us through to the next stage, seeing the whole pub erupt in raw passion that can only be demonstrate by someone who truly loves their country, i would far prefer to be someone passionate about the sport, than someone who just picks the team currently on form.
