Soto had Guzman running scared for most of the fight.
Guzman tried trading with Soto the first 2 rounds, and when Guzman could no longer handle Soto's power, Guzman cowardly, hit Soto with an intenional low blow in the 3rd, Turned his back 90 degrees to avoid being hit, grabbed and held Soto's arms, and then RAn, RAN and RAN from Soto for the rest of the fight.

When Guzman fought Barrios, Funeka and others, he traded with them and walked through their punches.
when Guzman fought Soto, he Ran, cheated, and ran.

It was Soto that had Guzman running like a *****.

Dan Rafael doesn't always speak with the truth.

Peterson is the #1 contender/mandatory challenger to Soto's Title.

If there were issues, Peterson could sue, or make noise in any websites, media, news, etc.

You dont hear any internet website, news or media saying that Soto does't want to fight Peterson.
Its peterson that is ducking Soto.

Peterson moved to another alphabet group(WBA) to avoid fighting Soto.

Do you hear Peterson comlplaining that he had to move to the WBA???

Some advise, I'm going to assume that the majority on this forum have the black and gold background...so yeah, don't post in black font.

Barrera fought Rocky Juarez for about the same amount of money he would've gotten if he had fought Soto, that same year.

Morales, Aliste Dejesus for about the same amount of money he would've gotten if he had fought Soto.

Pacquiao fought Jorge Soils for about the same amount of money he would've gotten if he had fought Soto, that same year.

Its not a money issue. Its a fear issue.

    :lol::lol:

That's why Peterson kept delaying/cancelling fights with Soto, then ran to to WBA to fight Rios, tonigh, in an "elimination bout" to avoid Soto?

Peterson, like many others, is scared of Soto.

I don't normally wade into these **** thread but I will here. I hate Soto he epitomises what is wrong with Boxing, he is taking titles (vacant and **** opponents) to try and make "history" by becoming a four weight champ (for whatever reason he counts his interim bs title at Featherweight) but he is doing it by taking the weakest challenges he possibly can. He could have faced Peterson for the vacant title but he choose a past it David Diaz who was **** even when prime. And now he got offered Urbano Antillon (who isn't even that good) but rejected and choose the fearsome Fidel Monterrosa Munoz instead.

Nobody would duck a figher as mediocre as Soto. From the Youtube clips Ive seen of Rios, he's alot better then Soto.

Soto fought for the vacant WBC 130lbs Super-Featherweight title, because Manny Pacquiao abandoned that title to avoid defending it against Soto.

Soto fought for the vacant WBC 135lbs Lighweight title, cause Edwin Valero abandoned that title to avoid defending it against Soto.

Soto wanted to defend his 135 lbs title against Peterson on June 5th Cotto-Foreman undercard, but Peterson backed down.
Soto then offered Peterson a August/September fight date, and Peterson ran to the WBA, to avoid fighting Soto.

Soto has tried fighting Peterson, Manny Pacquiao, JMM. MAB, EM, Valero (when he was alive), and so many others, but THEY'RE ALL SCARED TO FIGHT SOTO.

Rios has called out Soto. So will Soto answer?

    Soto fights anybody.

Rios is just talking stupid, cause he's young and naive.

Rios is calling out Soto now, cause he knows Soto is busy fighting next week, and is training, to not be able to answer or conduct interviews.

and Rios called out JMM, when JMM is already booked to fight Katsidis.

Rios is a B level fighter that just not is Soto's league.

    Soto would easily decapitate Rios.
If featherfisted Peterson was able to spank Rios a few times, Soto would make Rios crawl on the canvas like a "newborn".

Well newbie, if Soto is fighting next week then it's a perfect time for Rios to called him out now correct? Cause after Soto wins next week, he can do an interview and accept Rios challenge right?

OK that is all bs for one. But to poke a clear hole in your logic why did he reject Urbano Antillon (who has already been found out by Acosta) to take on a bum that isn't even top 100 and it's not as if you can say this is the first time he has done that. Why has he faced a sub Top 25 fighter every fight since he lost to Guzman. Simply put since losing to Guzman and winning a title he has lost his ambition and he is happy taking easy fights and living off his belt.
