Wlad needs to get in contact with some of you guys, I think you could take him to the next level.

Worst comment ever. Nobody is liable to criticize him because he would beat all of us in a boxing match?

Wlad could have shed Peter off him much earlier in the fight. I didn't get why he was doing that and that he always needs manny to telll him when to finish a guy off.

It's amazing he can because I'm quite certain Sam will give any top hw not called Klitschko all kinds of trouble, if not knocking them out (And yes, that includes Haye), and the same goes for Eddie also.

It was totally dominant in every way, we even seen uppercuts :happy trown by Wlad, and they were effective too. Shame he didn't trow more.
If he starts off the way he did in this bout against a contender with a softer chin it will end early on I guess. Let's hope he keeps starting like he did against Peter. :good

To answer the original question...yeah. Ruiz used the jab and grab to get pretty far, and Ruiz always had more will than skill. When a guy who actually is skilled implements the jab and grab, he is nearly unstoppable.
Wlad took the Ruiz game plan but mastered it because Wlad has more god given gifts than Ruiz did. Wlad has more reach and size and much more power. Wlad can control the distance with the jab better than Ruiz due to his size, and his clinch is more effective due to his size. While both Ruiz and Wlad would lull their opponents into a frustrating complacency, Wlad does damage at the same time because he is so big and strong.
