I wasn't arguing if he won one officially, but didn't remember one I was close to giving him myself. I think Kevin Johnson got one judge to give him a round officially too, but I didn't give him any. :D

That's fair. They were both dominant performances. But I'll always go with the fighter that scores a legit KO.

ow there is 1 thing thats funny. before wladimir got destroyed and was unbeaten i remember vitali always saying that wladimir is the better of the two but after that corrie sanders fight things got turnd in favor of vitali. I think then wladimir realised that vitali is the more complete version of the two

Right...We're comparing apples and apples here. They were both dominant performances. But I always go with the fighter that gets the stoppage. :D

But you take the time to talk bad about other fighters(haye) who dont like wladimir. I think your not using his icon cuz when wladimir will lose again you dont feel bad about it and can get a new hero who is still champ:hey

Thats what I think too. Why Peter had confidence going into this fight because:
    1) In their first fight Wlad was on the canvas 3 times, 2) He thought that Wlad is still the same fragile fighter that he was in 05 3) And being in better shape, with a better plan ( in the first round i thought that was a good plan)
Thats why he had more confidence.

Yep, I don't like Haye. I once followed his career because I thought he could be a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stagnant division. But I've since wised up. He's a con man and he wouldn't last 5 rounds against either Klitschko. You know that, I know that, and Haye knows that. :D

Gotta go with Vitali. Peter was supposedly in better shape this time vs Wlad, but there was more uncertainty in the Vitali fight. Plus, it was the first time Peter had been stopped and he made him quit on his stool. That counts for something.

No, he didn't win one round on the judges' scorecards. He appears to have won ONE round on ONE judge's scorecard.

The other two correctly scored all of the rounds to Vitali.

When a guy quits on his stool, that is a greater sign of defeat than at least continuing the fight with some hope.

    Vitali ended matters earlier.

And your point is what, exactly? I told you that he won 1 round and he did win one round, albeit on one judge's scorecard. Do you think Peter won 1 round one a judge's scorecard tonight. Of course not. But I'm glad you took the time to do the research yourself. Again, both brothers turned in dominant performances, but I'd go with Wlad if forced to choose. Have a good night. :good

Old Vitali toyed with Peter without ever clinching by controlling the distance at all times. Peter couldn't touch him or get near him. A superior performance compared to Wlad's hugging routine.

Wlad beat a better version of Peter in his first win but had more trouble and was dropped, some of the punches questionable on the side of the head but still dropped.

Vitali was completely dominate and schooled Peter worse than Wlad did but by then Peter wasnt as good.

Still probably have to say vitali did better. Even the 2005 peter I still see vitali schooling him and not getting dropped like wlad did

Yeah thats a good point too and another thing to take into account, even though peter was past his best, vitali also came back from a huge layoff and so many injuries.

When you consider vitali's age and injuries his performance is way better than Wlad's

Yep. And he stopped him sooner too. He actually threw at Peter without any holding whatsoever and imposed his will on him more. Vitali was also older at the time. There's no comparison to me that Big Brother's win was way better.

People were picking Peter to KO Vitali due to the inactivity. Because Sam was so ****, he allowed a guy to come out of retirement after a 4yr layoff and take his belt in his 1st fight back. That's some historic stuff. :-(

    People musta forgot.
