About ****ing time...This time Martinez will get the win that he should have gotten in the 1st fight.

Paul won and he will win again. Don't know why everyone has gotten their panties in a bunch about a very close fight.

Because of 1 bad score card.
Also probably because in the first rounds Martinez wasn't really hit when he went down.

I had Paul up by 1 point.

There is an awful lot of revisionist history surrounding the Williams/Martinez fight. In the aftermath of the first fight we had a poll that ask "who won?" That poll ran about 70-30 in favor of Williams. After the Martinez/Pavlik a fight an identical poll ran about 90-10 in favor of Martinez. Boxing fans have very little personal integrity.

Good... I hope Martinez beats Williams's ass again and this time gets the credit for it.

    good one.

If Williams doesn't start fighting tall and using his length advantage I see him losing this. If he stays at range and jabs the **** out of Martinez he can control the fight.

That's the thing about Williams, his jab has always been average at best. For a guy his size he should have developed it to be his best weapon, but he has not.

no its not great, really the only fight he fought the way he should is against MArgo. tons of volume from distance, sit down on a right hand once in a while to keep em honest and move.

with his volume its good enough, if he improved it it could be one of the best weapons in boxing.
