Why are you people still talking abut Valero? When Beniot killed his kid, wife, nobody really talk about him. Valero kill his wife in which nobody here should talk about him anymore. He wasn't a great fighter anyway in which he beat was all bums (would you agree on that one intensional?)
Valero would have destroyed him. But like rayhogan said, why are we still talking about this dude? ESB needs to make Valero threads against the rules.
But man Valero did look like a man possessed when he got that nasty headbutt gash against DeMarco, that gash made him fight even harder and had DeMarco scared for real.
Valero beats the absolute **** out of him. Valero, for all his lunacy and inability to feel pain, he could actually box pretty well. It's a pity he was a mad man. His antics in the ring were admitable. The DeMarco fight showed him to be a monster.
Who has Valero beat to make you think that? Peterson is far better then any other fighters that Valero beat by ko.
The closest thing to Rios's pressure and power that we saw Valero face at lightweight was Tony D. This could have been closer than people think, even with where Rios is now. With a couple of years development Rios could turn out to be really good, to the point where people look at historical fantasy match-ups like this and think it would have been a mismatch the other way. This isn't me getting carried away with Rios after the Peterson win, btw - this is me never having been as blown away by Valero as others were. His greatest (and as it turns out, final) win was only over Tony DeMarco, after all. I'm not in the "he would have cleaned house with Guzman, Pacquiao, Marquez etc." camp.
he really was a mad man. I wish Pac would have steamrolled him. he should have fought him instead of David Diaz.
It was way too early in Valero's career for that fight to have any chance of being made, just from a business and promotional standpoint.
Check out his sparring videos. His looks way more polished in sparring. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-EaEgnoXtU[/ame] Against an ATG. Check out his approach. He was the goods. Tell me which guy was the ATG and which guy was the pretender.
Lmao @ sparring. Sparring don't mean ****. If it means something then Barrera would have struggle vs Peden in a boxing ring. <<The reason i said that cause Barrera was struggling with him in sparring if i remember correctly. Didn't Williams hurt Margarito in sparring? Why didn't he hurt Margarito in the pro ring?
