Rios'es shout shattered all the windows in Ortiz'es house.

He had to learn the hard way not to invite him to any more parties.

Rios: "Ortiz is a fa**et, he's a *****. I'll say it right to his face and he won't do nothing. He'll try to shake my hand and be my friend. He ain't ****. He's a surfer... Wannabe White *****."

I wonder if this goes all the way back from Kansas City.

Neither were from Kansas City. Ortiz left Garden City, Kansas for Colorado when he was just a kid. So they never spent much time together as kids. Whatever happened happened after they both turned pro and lived in California.

For one thing Brandon never forgot his roots and where he came from. No one ever gave him anything, he earned everything he got. Where as Ortiz was given a lot and forgot where he came from and who the people were who gave him his start. Ortiz does not have the heart of a champion and a warrior like Brandon does.

questions about roots and heart...sounds like the Vargas (who's with Rios), DLH (who's with Ortiz) feud awhile back.

..and thanx for the info on your previous post.

I should know, my post was the one that initiated the comparisons but no one said stylewise.

    Young [x]
    Mexican-American [x]
    Hard-hitting [x]
    Brawls and box [x]
    Badass persona [x]

    Style-wise[ ]

WHo has ORtiz forgot about? You yourself said he left Garden City when he was a kid. Do you feel he owes the people in Garden City anything? Why should Ortiz be looked down on because HBO hyped him up?

I like both guys but i think people tend to lay to much criticism on Ortiz.
