Think Wigan will win and dont buy into wigan have peeked for the year as think they will rise again now the playoff games are ere !... but i aint punting on this one as Leeds have a player who i thinks brilliant and hes in form ... a certain Daniel Maguire ...he can win games on his own and always turns up against Wigan ....

 

I think Wigan, by around 10-15.

I don't buy into thinking they've peaked either..... even if they have it should still be too much for Leeds. We took 70 minutes to break down a 12 man Hull side, which looks bad given that they were put away quite easily by Rovers yesterday.

Like you say it depends on how Wigan handle Danny McGuire, to me the key is to get him working in defence - don't (like most team do) target Rob Burrow in defence just because he's a dwarf.... it's not going to work.

Really, given the way we've played this season the best tactic is to just play simple, basic stuff and frustrate Leeds.... our discipline is terrible, not just with giving away daft penalties but also trying to score a try on every play and throwing the ball around instead of just wearing teams down.

Given that Peacock is injured look to target Bailey - it's not great either taking the ball in or in defence and has a short fuse..... give him a bit of forearm treatment and some verbals. He'll lose the plot pretty quickly.

 

shite. had man u, chelsea, rangers in a treble, watched the united game in the pub, get to ninety minutes and i'm just about to leave when everton score, i knew united were gonna throw it away right then. second time in there last two matches they've screwed me right at the end.

Given that the weather looks ok in Wigan, I can't see past a Wigan win, they have looked the business this year and I can't see a coach like Maguire letting them peak too soon.

Even though 5/2 on Leeds is pretty decent odds, Leeds are probably still reeling from the Challenge Cup Final 2 weeks ago and its a Wigan win for me.
