    Exactly.

Its not by *choice* that a beaten opponent is in a bad position, and gets hammered. Through movement and a wall of jabs, the superior boxer forces his man to stay where he wants him to be in order to *have his way with him*. Its that simple.

I dont know about you lot, but i find it difficult to give Vlad all this credit when you look at the state of the heavyweight division.

To even mention Iron Mike in this thread, almost alluding to Vlad being the same force as Mike, is farcical and must be a way of americans trying to make themselves feel better as they stink at the sport at this weight.

Peters is a joke, simple. All this talk about him training hard for the fight blah, blah, it's embarrassing, dude was fat. Vlad was going to destroy him it was obvious.

HW boxing is at the lowest it has been for decades. i though when Lennox was dominating it was bad, but right no....it's horrible.

Tyson before King would have been both vlad's and vitali's worst nightmare. The opening posters question is a valid one, to say that Vlad is so good and thats why the HW of now cant handle him is way too simplistic an argument.

HW boxing is officially dead (in america anyway)

EXACTLY MY POINT!! THEY DON'T EVEN TRY!!!! They walk straight in, and try to grab. Most times walking right in to the right hand! People knock MMA fighter for their lack of boxing ability but for **** sake, atleast I seen fighters try to circle, move, give a few angles. Those are boxing basics!!!! Nevermind forgetting the gameplan when hit, they aren't even showing any ring IQ before they are hit to prevent themselves from getting hit! THese guys know what Wlad is gonna do, so why the hell would you walk right in to his power? thus doubling the impact as well. We've not actually seen someome box skillfully off the back foot, move around, try to offset Wlad's rhythm and timing.

He's good at what he does, but he's not superman as some would have you believe. He's just able to dominate because these fools are there to be hit, standing right in the murder zone! Just don't get that.

Wlad is never going to get the respect he deserves, his opponents don't choose to stand and get battered, Wlad uses his skills to keep them where he wants.

We're not talking about speed! we're talking about showing some ring IQ, and boxing skills. And many a Klit opponent has showed neither of the two!

Off the top of my head, both Chris Byrd and Ruslan Chagaev have plenty of ring IQ, skills and in Byrds case, speed. It did **** all to help either of them. The only other fighters in the division at the moment with these attributes are Povetkin and Haye, who in the eyes of most people are blatantly ducking Wlad.
