I agree with a lot of what you wrote but you can't teach a chin and Wlad is fatally flawed n that department ... He has mastered a style to maximize his skills and minimizing his chin ... power to him for his heart and determination ... however, if any big name fighter is one punch away from a loss it's Wlad and he knows it ..

So funny. Yeah, Wlad who was never KOed only stopped on his feet three times and twice of those times clearly due to stamina issues and not due to his chin has a glass jaw. Tyson on the other hand who was stopped 5 times, three of those clear KOs, has something between a very sturdy and an iron chin.
Wlad has no iron chin but it´s okay, a decent one. He took flush shots from a few hard punchers without going down.

When did it start that every fighter who get´s stopped automatically has a bad chin? That´s hilarious and so far away from the truth.

Wlad has got better. Louis got more motivated.

How was Tyson KOed three clear times? If you're going to label stamina the culprit than why was stamina not an issue for Tyson? Tyson was knocked down against Lewis but was completely capable of getting up. He tore his knee or something against Danny Williams. Wlad and Tyson's chin aren't comparable whatsoever. You can also be simpleton and oversimplify things by going by boxrec KO losses rather than the actual clean punches they took. Just like you can by looking at KO percentage to determine that Vitali hits harder than Earnie Shavers. Tyson took monstrous shots. His chin is way better.

If you just look at the beatdown Douglas gave him, you can't question is chin at all.

No doubt. And considering that McCall said Douglas was one of the hardest punchers he faced (When he a sparring partner for Tyson) only further validates his chin when witnessing the beating he took from Douglas.

I don´t question Tyson´s chin. I just point out the hypocrisy going on here.

    SPECUTLAR ?????????? Priceless! :rofl

Schmeling was offered a rematch with Louis twice , before Louis beat Braddock ,Mike Jacobs tried to put them together but Max ,[with his eyes on Braddock's title ] did not want to risk it.
Louis took him on 2 years after their first fight ,and destroyed him in under a round.

Louis gave a rematch to Buddy Baer 8 months later,Baer was a prime 26 years old.1 rd ko
Louis gave Godoy a rematch 4 months later, Godoy was 27 years old.One sided carve up stoppage
Walcott got an immediate rematch ,6 months later. No arguments this time, emphatic ko

Conn got a late rematch, a little thing called WW2 delayed things there ,Conn was 29 years old.Louis had no trouble with the ring rusty Conn

Byrd was nearly 36 years old when Wlad rematched him, there was a 6 year interval between the fights.
Brewster was 34 years old and there was a 3 year gap in between their fights.
Peter was rematched 5 years after their first encounter.
Any resemblance between to the two fighters is purely accidental, and extremely tenuous.

    :good

Well its not a good comparison then. Tyson was only knocked down in a single shot by Lewis. And the whole time he was taking a major beating. Guaranteed Wladimir would have folded way before that.
Even though Wladimir has been stopped less times then Tyson, Tyson still has the better chin, by far.

Yes, he is. Also a bit like Marciano. Don't forget him Mendoza. Marciano was absolute terror in rematches.
