    To be honest, Roach then said in a live interview that whoever wrote that was bullshitting. And I'm not surprised if some Hater just quoted Roach and changed up the words.

    I rather believe live talk then something written from a non-credible source.

    I'll believe it when it's on HBO's schedule. Until then, I don't believe anything from any fighter or promoter.

    BTW, I do hope it happens. But anybody getting excited by a quote from a fighter, promoter, or trainer is beyond me.

    What do you mean "what's happening now." Khan is talking **** on twitter, again, that's what's happening. Wait till the fight is signed then start giving people **** you oxygen thief.

    Lazarus, It was said. I could find you the quote if I could be bothered digging this late. However in Khan's/Roach's defense it was a different situation to now.

    The reason they stated for saying they would rather vacate than face Maidana was because they didn't feel he was a big enough name for Khan's U.S debut and they wanted to pursue Khan Vs Marquez, which at the time they felt sure they would get and to them was far greater worth than keeping the WBA title.. also take into account they felt it unfair that they had faced Salita who was mandatory, and were then immediately ordered to face Maidana... so you could let them off
