Will Wlad ever get the kudos that Lennox lewis has gotten, perhaps as an ATG?

Will Wlad ever get the recongnition as one of the greatest heavyweight power punchers of all time? Here is a list of the guys who he is the first (and in some cases, the only) fighter to KO them:

    Eddie Chambers
    Ruslan Chasgaev
    Calvin Brock
    Eliseo Castillo
    Fabio Edwardo ...
    Ray Mercer
    Monte Barrett
    David Bostice
    Paea Wolfgramm

    Of course he will.

People hated on Lennox until he retired. Same criticisms too; boring, predictable, hides behind his size, blah blah blah. People look fondly on the past and trash the present, it's the way of things. Especially when it comes to boxing.

The past was always better in the eyes of many, rose tinted glasses and such.

He will, but not from casual fans. Hardcore boxing fans already respect him.

He seems to have adapted well to cover for his lack of iron chin and lack of ATG stamina. Perhaps Wlad is boring, but very skillful, I hope he gets his dues as far a premere boxing skills.

Would you agree though that Wlad's stamina seems to be improving? This guy moved a lot in this Peter fight, dodging Peter's rhino like charges and wild but very dangerous looping hooks round after round and threw a hell of a lot of punches back. I see the Wlad of old gassing out and becoming vulnerable to the K.O. but instead he seemed to get a second wind and started dancing on his toes during the later rounds. I see his stamina becoming one of Wlad's strengths nowadays which I admit is hard to accept. Wlad is getting better in my mind in all aspects of the game and is just entering his prime.

That list looks as good as the lists of Holmes, Marciano, Jack Johnson, Foreman, Lewis or Tyson. Klitschko is one of the all time greats, it's quite clear now based on his consistently masterful performances. Yes there were some disappointing unaesthetic wins, but all the great ones have those too.

He's definately doing something right. So far he does a lot better in rematches then he does in original fights (Byrd, Brewster, Peter) reversing a loss with a KO and 2 decision wins into 2 KO wins. Wlad has adapted and gotten better.

He's a mediocre champion in a very **** era. I don't think he'll ever be recognized as one of the ATG's.

Honestly, I can't respect him on the same level as Lennox. Lennox utilized more of his offensive arsenal, had more confidence, and beat better fighters.

To be honest, I respect Vitali a lot more than Wlad, and think that he's more skilled and especially confident.

I really don't care about any heavyweight fighter right now.

Lots of agreement. I mean the best the heavyweight champion can muster is a time slot on ESPN? WTF? ESPN is TV for journeymen and prospects on the way up, not for champions.

Please! Wlad will stop Haye in like 2 or 3 rounds.
