I'm going after Wlad similar to how Pascal took on Dawson. Stay outside his jab and make him move laterally, and then when his feet are not planted explode with 3-4 bombs and get back out of his range. It's risky, cause Wlad is about 10 times stronger than Haye, but its definately feasible.

If I'm David Haye I'd keep doing the same thing I'm doing now: ducking lol
I'd love to see that fight though

If he tries that he will take a jab to the face followed by a bear hug.

Wlad is not exactly the kind of guy who can throw accurate punches when his feet are not set. Even the jab.

Vlad is extremely talented fighter. I am seeing lots of biased "sour grapes".

Vlad would knock Haye out and so would Vitali. Haye knows that. Haye lied, broke two contracts.

    Ditto.

Tyson said that Haye should avoid The Klitschkos. It so appears that Haye has taken that advice. Haye can only fool a few of his delusional fans though.

That worked against Valuev as Haye threw something like 6 punches per round, enough to win rounds because Valuev was as slow like a deep-frozen Cro-Magnon man. Haye doesn't have the stamina and punch output to reproduce that against Wlad in an effective manner.

IMO Haye's best bet would be an early Sanders style ambush with straight hands right through the middle (not wide hooks). This "approach" takes into account Haye's weaknesses (chin, stamina, workrate, defense) as he tries to take out Wlad before Haye's weaknesses seal his own fate.

I dont think anyone will ever beat wlad by fighting from the outside, any form of boxing with wlad i think will end in disaster.

Pressing the attack with big guts, big power, intense pressure, with a good chin and good stamina is the way to beat wlad.

However, Haye cant employ this type of fight against wlad so his best bet will probably be what you say, which is close to the way he fights anyways.

Haye was exploiting this tactics vs Valuev and looked pathetic except for the last round when he actually managed to stagger Niko. If he tries to do that to Wlad, he'll get floored by a counter punch when he opens up for a shot.

Well spotted. That guy assumes that because Wlad head hunted the sloth Sam Peter, that he never goes to the body for any of his opponents... He simply generalized a fighter from watching him for less than 30 minutes in a 50+ fight pro career.

I guess you're talking about Dwyer. The fact of the matter is I've never seen him talk about Haye vs Wlad.

But if his opinion is similar to mine, its all good. I usually don't agree with what he says but I respect his opinion.
